As I mentioned on my diary a little while ago, red wine tones are very in for Autumn/Winter 24/25, so you're actually being extremely fashionable, definitely3

Morning all, happy Friday eve.
WFH today so a nice leisurely start to the morning, reading and drinking coffee. I'm hoping that the next 2 days are pretty quiet work-wise so I can crack on with the things on my work to do list in preparation for what will be a very busy week next week.
The weather is a bit dull at the moment but is forecast to be sunny later so have just done a load of washing to hang out.
Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park later this morning, strength training at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a new recipe to try satay noodles. I'm going to add some tofu to it, also add more veg as there's not enough of it in this recipe for me, I like lots of veg.
Housework task is to give the kitchen a good clean in between logging off from work and Zumba.
I thought I would've heard from the builder by now as it was last Thursday he came to quote. However he did say he was manically busy and I did tell him there was no rush. I just want to know how much so I can plan accordingly when the regular savers mature in the next couple of months. Hopefully at least DD's room will be done before Christmas if not the dining room.
Money wise it should be a NSD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Purple eyebrows - brilliant!
I love satay style noodles - although I don't generally follow a recipe to get there - just lob a blob of peanut butter in with some boiling water to slacken it a bit. Yum!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Loving the idea of purple eyebrows…..reminded me of the purple eye shadow of the 70s I thought I looked so cool. Looking back at the photos I looked like I’d been punched and had black eyes 😂😂😂😂😂January spends - £587.583

I found myself momentarily WANTING purple eyebrows when I read SA's post!2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (29/100)

Another working week done.Worked in the office today, finished at lunchtime. Dropped 5 books off at the work book swap and only picked up 1.Usual stop off at Lid! on the way home.Managed to locate the eyebrow pencil this morning so no purple eyebrows today 🤣 I only bought the purple eyeliner because purple is allegedly supposed to look best on green eyes but mostly I end up reaching for the brown. Yes @Blackcats I was also a victim of bright blue eyeshadow back in the day and it didn’t suit me either being a green eyed golden blonde with light olive skin 😬 Let’s not talk about the black lipstick I wore in the early 80s 🤦♀️
Today’s exercise was walking to/from work just over 20,000 steps. FitBit is charging up so no more to be added.Tonight’s dinner is lightly dusted sweet chilli basa with steamed veg and beetroot chips to get rid of the final bit of beetroot languishing in the fridge. In Mr SA news he left his scooter and house keys outside last night and tried to make out it was my fault, say no more 😔I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Hey SA are you going pto del Carmen in April again? We are there over Easter from Good Friday till 5th of May this time (bit of an experiment to see if we can cope with a longer visit as thinking about a long term rental once we retire in 5 years). Anyway it made me think of you when I paid the deposit today.
the purple eyebrows made me laugh - I put on a lip liner as a eye liner last week so can relate!Lancashire
