  • As I mentioned on my diary a little while ago, red wine tones are very in for Autumn/Winter 24/25, so you're actually being extremely fashionable, definitely

    Morning all, happy Friday eve.

WFH today so a nice leisurely start to the morning, reading and drinking coffee. I'm hoping that the next 2 days are pretty quiet work-wise so I can crack on with the things on my work to do list in preparation for what will be a very busy week next week.

The weather is a bit dull at the moment but is forecast to be sunny later so have just done a load of washing to hang out.

Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park later this morning, strength training at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.

Tonight's dinner is a new recipe to try satay noodles. I'm going to add some tofu to it, also add more veg as there's not enough of it in this recipe for me, I like lots of veg.

Housework task is to give the kitchen a good clean in between logging off from work and Zumba.

I thought I would've heard from the builder by now as it was last Thursday he came to quote. However he did say he was manically busy and I did tell him there was no rush. I just want to know how much so I can plan accordingly when the regular savers mature in the next couple of months. Hopefully at least DD's room will be done before Christmas if not the dining room.

Money wise it should be a NSD.

  • Purple eyebrows - brilliant!

I love satay style noodles - although I don't generally follow a recipe to get there - just lob a blob of peanut butter in with some boiling water to slacken it a bit. Yum!

Loving the idea of purple eyebrows…..reminded me of the purple eye shadow of the 70s I thought I looked so cool. Looking back at the photos I looked like I’d been punched and had black eyes 😂😂😂😂😂

I was a bright blue eye shadow gal in the 70's even though my eye colour, skin colour and hair colour definitely do not complement blue eye shadow.

The purple eyebrows remind me a bit of Bridget Jones and the too much blusher incident

Hey SA are you going pto del Carmen in April again? We are there over Easter from Good Friday till 5th of May this time (bit of an experiment to see if we can cope with a longer visit as thinking about a long term rental once we retire in 5 years). Anyway it made me think of you when I paid the deposit today.

the purple eyebrows made me laugh - I put on a lip liner as a eye liner last week so can relate!
