Another working day done, or half day in my case 😆
Had a lovely lunch with work friends, my old team, some of us including me have moved to different work areas on promotion. Although I love what I do now I also miss the team I used to work with. Will have to go back into the city centre on Sunday as I saw a gorgeous linen shift dress in MnS when I picked up the currency but they didn’t have it in my size so have ordered it for collection on Sunday.Tonight’s dinner was pizza and salad. Exercise has been walking to/from work and Zumba.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Morning all, happy Friday 😎
WFH today thank goodness as heard Mr SA shuffling about downstairs at 1am! Went to investigate and he was wandering around with nothing on and had the TV on! Goodness knows what was going off there but I herded him back to bed. He claims he was watching football as he couldn't sleep but all seems very suspect to me. I was mainly concerned about him falling as 1am seems to be his peak falling and me calling an ambulance time. It took me ages to get back to sleep after that and I didn't wake up until well after 6.
Final working day for 2 weeks. Got loads of loose ends to tie up and 2 sets of notes to write up before I log off. No meetings other than a quick catch up with my line manager. I've blocked off my calendar so no one can sneak anything in.
Having my nails and eyebrows done this afternoon. Hoping not to have to log back on after that but I really need to get my work finished so may have to.
Payday so finances have been sorted and the payday money shuffle has been done. DD has paid her board so that's gone to the holiday pot. An oddment of £6.67 has gone to the Christmas pot. £100 to Premium Bonds. £80 to the annual payments pot, £50 to the vet pot, £50 to appliances pot and £20 to glasses pot. Money for regular savers put to one side. All July bills money in place ready for the start of the direct debits going out on Monday.
CC app has been checked and balance cleared. Will clear the pending balance on Monday.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning and general walking to get my step count up to my goal of at least 15,000.
Tonight's dinner is tuna steak, lime and coriander rice and steamed veg. Got leftover pizza and salad from last night for lunch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Happy Friday, happy payday and happy nearly holidays SA ☀️
the 1am naked football watching sounds really dodgy. Do you think he was covering up the fact that he didn’t know what he was doing and got caught in the act?Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good news on here. The holiday, your daughter, new clothes and nails and eyebrows being done.
(I will ignore Mr SA's antics)
Interesting that Mr SA has a peak time for falling, or is that general to the population?
Nice supper as per usual...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Well so much for finishing work early. Didn’t log off until 5.45 from 7am! I did have 2 breaks one for dog walking and one for my nails and eyebrows but was hoping to finish at 2.30. Always the same on breaking up day. This is the downside to WFH.Anyway that’s me logged off for just over 2 weeks 🥳 The laptop is packed away in its bag and firmly zipped shut.I now have 3 days to tidy the garden, give the house a good clean and pack the cases.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
