That’s another working week done. One more until I break up for 2 weeks.Worked in the office and finished at lunchtime. Did a bit of shopping in the city centre then stopped off at Lid! on the way home.Free drinks - Caffe Ner0 courtesy of 🐙 and was handed a can of iced tea from a bright yellow bus in the city centre.Exercise today has been 23,000 steps walking to/from work.Tonight’s dinner is sweet chilli breaded fish fillet with steamed vegetables.Had 30 minutes in my hanging chair reading when I got back home.Gardening tasks - watering plants, picked yet more mangetout plus some strawberries.Looking forward to a glass of 🍷tonight with my feet up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Enjoy your wine, you've definitely earned it with all your steps plus gardening tasks. Very pleasing to get a freebie, and glad you got some chill time in your chair. What did you get in the city centre?!2

Hope you had your wine with your feet up.
A few pages back you made Rasta vegan pasta. Sounded delicious. Will google itIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Absolutely shattered tonight. Have been very busy. Did my usual Saturday morning ClubFit class then took the winter duvet to the launderette. I thought it was a good opportunity to get it washed and dried while the weather is so good. £8 to use the machine 😱 While it was washing went to the local big park that’s also a garden centre as they were selling trays of bedding plants for £1 each. Bought £6 worth. Got back to the launderette just in time for the machine stopping so that was well timed. Made Mr SA take a coffee from home with him so he didn’t pester for a C0st@.Talking of coffee dropped off yet another bag of pods for recycling at a local shop.By the time we got back home it was lunchtime. After lunch topped up the pebbled areas with the stones that were delivered on Thursday. Good job we have a sack truck as they were really heavy. Potted up the new plants and gave the garden pots and the greenhouse plants a good watering.I eventually got some time in my hanging egg chair with my book once all that was done. Also had a nice soak in the bath with a face pack.
Tonight’s dinner has been butternut squash dhal, a favourite recipe of mine. Didn’t fancy Prosecco tonight so have red wine instead.Exercise has been the ClubFit class this morning plus lots of walking, just over 24,000 steps.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Another weekend done ☹️
Been really busy again, loads of gardening. Cut the grass, weeding, trimmed some shrubs and watered everything.Finished reading my current book, one that had been on my bookshelf for a long time The Woman at 72 Derry Lane by Carmel Harrington absolutely loved it. Touched on some very dark subjects such as the Boxing Day Tsunami, domestic abuse and agoraphobia but still managed to be uplifting. Will definitely look for more books by that author.Had some time in my hanging chair and also on my new sunbed. It was really hot at the bottom of the garden where the sunbed is as there’s no shade. Both cats were flaked out down there, wouldn’t you think they’d seek shade. In medical news I think the dog has an ear infection 😩 I’m going to ring the vets tomorrow to get her checked. She keeps ear flapping and scratching her ears. She also keeps washing her back paw and yelping so that needs looking at too. There’s always blooming something! The suitcases are out again 🤞 I must reserve a mobility scooter for Mr SA tomorrow for the holiday or we’ll be stuffed. Probably should email the hotel too and request a room close to reception. It’s starting to get very real now with just 8 days to go.Mr SA is really suffering with the pollen and his eyes are red raw. Not stopped him sitting outside though, he won’t help himself.Today’s exercise has been dog walking this morning and lots of gardening 16,000 steps - I’m slacking 😆

Just downloaded the Lid! Sounds of Spain playlist on Spotify to listen to on my walk to work tomorrow. Noticed quite a few Zumba tracks on there so that’s me twerking at the pedestrian crossings again 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
