Morning all, halfway through the week already.
WFH again today.
Finances have been checked and have transferred vet bill money from vet bill pot into current account ready to pay off the cc when it clears. Also transferred money from birthday pot to put in DGD's card. An oddment of £6.40 has gone to the Christmas pot.
Today's exercise will be dog walking this morning and Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is tofu stir fry. Made a big batch of vegetable chilli for last night's dinner so have put two portions in the freezer and saved a portion for lunch with a baked potato today.
Today I need to book a mobility scooter for Mr SA to use on holiday, also going to hire a wheeled walker for him to use around the hotel. It's a lot more expensive in Ibiza to rent them than Lanzarote, almost double! I also need to order currency to pick up on my way back from the office tomorrow as, hopefully, that will be my last trip into the city centre for a couple of weeks. Add to that list book airport lounge. I've left these bits until the last minute as I needed to be sure we are definitely going away before parting with additional money.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Well it has been a very spendy day so far but all budgeted for. Airport lounge booked using a 15% off code the airport sent me. Scooter and walker hire booked, just waiting for confirmation and PayPal account details to send the deposit. Currency ordered for pick up tomorrow.
To be on the safe side I emailed the hotel just to check the reception is suitable for charging up/parking a mobility scooter as we haven't stayed in this hotel before. Thankfully it is. Its website indicates it's disabled friendly but I just wanted to make sure. Had it not been we would've had to take the wheelchair.

Only got 2 short working days left. Tomorrow I’m in the office but only until lunchtime as I’m meeting some work friends for a pub lunch and don’t plan to log back on. Then Friday I’m WFH but only until lunchtime again as having my nails and eyebrows done in the afternoon. Then that’s me done for 2 weeks 🥳🥂
I’m a lot more comfortable leaving DD this time, the difference in her is remarkable from how she was in April. Mind you I’ll be phoning home every night just to settle my mind.Scooter and walker deposit paid.
