Slight disappointment in that my M&S order for the dress is cancelled 🙁 They can’t get it to me until Tuesday which is too late as that’s the day we fly. I must say their web chat was excellent and it was all sorted in a couple of minutes. Oh well, it’s not as though I don’t have plenty of other dresses. It was gorgeous though. On the plus side at least I don’t have to go trekking to the city centre to pick it up.Anyway…
As the weather is good have made today a gardening day. Tomorrow will be house cleaning day and Monday will be packing the cases day. Picked a ton of mangetout and sugar snap peas. Oh my days they grow faster than I can pick them 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

I'm really not a fan of beetroot but I will concede that it probably looks very pretty alongside rose cava. I'll just have the cava though3

Morning all, happy Sunday.Really got to crack on with cleaning the whole house today. DD is off to work in a bit so will be able to start when she’s finished to-ing and fro-ing.Have put in a Mr M delivery for when we get back home, so one thing off the list ✔️
Must sort out the holiday toiletries today in case I need to pick anything else up. No doubt lip balms for Mr SA 🙄
Eczema is feeling and looking a lot better since I started using the hydrocortisone and emollient cream. Hopefully will be barely noticeable by Tuesday.Need to sort something out for dinner from freezer stocks. It will heavily feature sugar snaps and mangetout 😆
Have dangled the carrot to myself of leftover Prosecco in my hanging chair if I can tick everything off the list.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Morning all, happy July ☀️
I managed to get most of my case packed yesterday, just got a few bits to add. Need to pack Mr SA’s case today 😬
The plan for this morning is dog walking on the park then straight down to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling and one of their trolleys which has somehow found its way to the park. Then have a long list of bits and bobs to work my way through including cutting the grass.Taxi is booked for 4.15am which means getting up at 3am 🥱 The flight isn’t until 8am but I like to get there in plenty of time and we have the lounge booked from 5am. This time tomorrow we should be boarding the plane.Need to feed the regular savers today, another thing to add to the list.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

There is something very exciting about the last day before going on holiday. Always busy, but always fun. A bit like how Christmas Eve used to feel when you were a child.Making the debt go down and savings go up
