That's Monday almost done, the last working one for 2 weeks.
Worked in the office until just after lunch, finishing up at home. It's very warm today but had to put my jacket on in the office as it was so cold with the air con and I had a sleeveless dress on. I hate air con with a passion.
Finances checked and there was a £117.54 underspend in the last budget period. £7.54 has gone to the Christmas pot, £50 to the house pot and £60.00 to personal spends. CC app checked and balance paid off.
I've got the dog an appointment with the vet tomorrow afternoon. They only had 2 free appointments one at 9am and the one I took at 5.15. Both times will be busy road wise, although we'll take her on Mr SA's scooter with me walking there is a very busy loop road to cross. The later appointment suits me better as I have meetings most of the day that I can't really get out of. I want to get her checked over before we go away and get the ball rolling with any treatment she needs.
Today's freebies a Caffe Nero coffee courtesy of Octopus and seeded sourdough loaf courtesy of Lidl. Not a no spends day though as picked up some other bits from Lidl.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and I'm doing a live hula hooping session at 6pm.

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today. Just about managed to have my quiet time with my book and coffee before the peace was shattered by both DD and Mr SA getting up and making breakfasts.
The dog is fine in herself but it's just the scratching her ear and over-washing her paw. She's not enjoying the heat though she doesn't know what to do with herself. It could well be a very expensive day today depending on if anything needs doing. Typical that this morning she's not scratching her ears or complaining about her paw!
Mr SA has cheesed me off by leaving a tissue in every single pocket of the shorts I washed yesterday (4 pairs!!). I asked him to remove tissues before putting them in the washing basket and he said it was my job to remove them - really, I don't think so 😠 As the load of washing was mainly his I'm afraid he'll have to wear clothes with tissue stuck to them!
Mr M delivery has been and all packed away.
Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park before my morning meeting, bums & tums at lunchtime, walking to/from the vets and resistance bands IF we're back from the vets in time. I could do with popping into BnM while we're down that way.
This time next week we should be sat on the plane ready to take off for Ibiza. Fingers crossed...

Too right he can wear shorts with bits of tissue stuck to them, @Sun_Addict. I'd have done the same!

The dog's paw - sounds like a grass seed?
You are way more patient than me with nonsense like that from MrSA. I'd be finding somewhere "convenient" to place shorts, tissues and all, and very probably the washing basket too...which in fairness might also have the advantage of preventing any more "accidents" from that location, for a while at least...🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

🤣🤣 to all the above comments. The dog has an ear infection as I guessed. The vet can’t find anything wrong with her paw but thinks she’s over-washing it because she’s scratching her ear with it and is licking off blood and gunk. The vet felt her tummy and she found 6 fatty lumps. Just need to keep an eye on these - they could take some cells or do a biopsy if they start growing. The vet also gave her 2 weeks worth of anti inflammatory pills to see if they make a difference to her arthritis. Oh the joys of an older dog 😆 So that was almost £80 spent. I’ve to take her back 2 weeks tomorrow for a check on the ears and to see if the anti inflammatories have helped.I had time to nip in BnM for shed and suitcase padlocks.I’m shattered walking all that way in the heat, I couldn’t believe how hot it was as I’d been busy working indoors most of the day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
