Banana bread was made x 2 loaves as there were a lot of bananas needed using. The kitchen smelled amazing. The dog kept sniffing the air 😆 I half the sugar and baking powder in the recipe I shared.I made Spanish style chickpea stew with veggie chorizo sausages for dinner tonight x 2 portions so one for tomorrow’s lunch.I did my usual Tuesday lunchtime bums & tums class and resistance bands class tonight. Ran around in the garden with the dog after I finished work and she enjoyed that. She can be a bit of a couch potato at times so was determined to get her outside.Had to throw a fair bit of DD’s stuff away from the fridge that had gone off. I think the milk and bread will have to be thrown too. I hate throwing food away but can’t keep anything that’s off or mouldy. The meat was still in date and has gone in the freezer.I now know for sure who uses all the loo rolls (DD) and makes all the mess (Mr SA).Tested the new cordless vacuum and I love it so far.Mr SA was pacified by the promise of a visit tomorrow with banana bread and clean clothes.I don’t know how I’d cope without my lovely dog. She’s not left my side bless her.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)12

If you have any bananas left then thinly slice and dehydrate them in your ninja and keep as snacks3

Hope Mr SA and DD are improving. Good that work are being supportive as well.

I hope there is better news from the patients today. Pneumonia is a horrible thing Mr LH has had it several times although only the first was bad as we always take action very quickly if we think any infection goes to his chest.Dogs always know when their ownber is upset, stressed etc even our little ****bag who is not popular at the moment.I am glad your boss is being decent so many arent. I hope you have a good and calm day with not too many phone calls.2

Morning all.
Let's see what today brings.
Didn't sleep quite so well last night, woke up about 3-ish but fortunately managed to get back to sleep. It's weird having no one else there.
I will have to go to the hospital today to see Mr SA. I'll probably go after lunch walk there and get the bus back (if it turns up!). I expect I'll be bringing back a fair bit of washing from Mr SA's accidents.
If I get chance I might nip over to the park and do some litter picking later this morning. Shame the dog won't come with me without Mr SA, his scooter is her comfort blanket. I haven't litter picked since Saturday and we've had a bank holiday with good weather since so expecting a mess.
Exercise will be walking and Zumba at 6pm.
To do list:
Litter picking on the park
Sort at least one of Mr SA's drawers of doom
Spanish challenges
Clean bathroom
Drop coffee pods off at the shop on my way to hospital
Visit Mr SA
Phone DD
Throw the dog's ball in the garden for her
Steam mop floors
I also have a work to do list of the minimum I want to achieve today but some can be rolled over to tomorrow if need be.
The scooter shop rang Mr SA yesterday to arrange delivery of his new scooter and to pick up the old one. He put them off but I don't see why they can't swap it over without him being there so he's going to call them back today. Would be good if they came tomorrow as Red Cross are coming to fit the bathroom rails.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Another busy day in store for you there.
I don't know how you fit it all in. I'm shattered just reading it!2 -
Mr SA might be coming home today. If so I'll still need to go to the hospital with a change of clothes and we'll take a taxi home. His chest still sounds awful and he's constantly coughing.
Moves declutter his drawers of doom further up the to do list...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Blimey. Surely that’s a bit quick for Mr SA to be coming home.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Doesn’t sound like he is well enough to come home if he is constantly coughing. Hospitals try and push you out asap these days so resist if you think it will be too much for you to look after him. No doubt they asked him and he wanted to go but you are the one who has to do all the work.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
