Well done on reaching the finals. If you don't go to Ibiza, make sure to make arrangements for Mr SA, so you can stay overnight in London and have a nice break.
Does sound like Mr SA may be using tactics to get you to visit. If he's confined to bed, then I would have thought a hospital gown could be provided and he can wait until you are able to visit. 
Hope there is good news from DD later.

Thank you all.

Mr SA has decided he's fine with a hospital gown so I don't need to go in. Meanwhile DD has had another blood transfusion during the night. Someone from work has visited with new PJs so she's fine on that count for now. 

Spoke to my manager and she's put me on 0% expected office attendance for the whole of May. She has also told me not to use flexi or leave for any time I need to take off and to take special leave instead. 

Still ploughing my way through 279 emails received while I was off.

That's so right of your manager - someone who can see that work needs to support employees not just the other way around. I hope you can have today as a day off from all visiting, if only to give yourself some physical recovery time.

I'm sorry DD has needed another lot of blood. It could be that will go on happening until they find out where the problem lies, but at least she is on hand to have it when needed and no more ambulance journeys etc. I hope she has a restful day today.

Great that you don't have to do the extra for Mr SA. I wonder why he changed his mind? Whatever it was, it means less stress for you.

That's great news about the award SA!  Much deserved and it would be wonderful if you could attend the awards presentation if you didn't end up going to Ibiza. You are obviously so very well thought of at work!🌟
Hmm - Mr SA. Yes I wouldn't be surprised if he had arranged the little accident on purpose. As to his comment about DD and the hospital gown, one can see that his empathy senses have definitely been turned off as a result of his seizures and he thinks all the world should revolve around him!

Oh that will be a help, @Sun_Addict, knowing that work is ok with you wfh & using special leave during May. It is one less thing to worry about. 
Hope there is positive news on both patients very soon, but I agree with others that they are in the best place until they have improved significantly. I hope your daughter has some answers soon about what is causing her illness.

Mr SA now has pneumonia in both lungs and is on water tablets to try and get some of the fluid off his lungs. He took a turn for the worse in the night after seeming so much better yesterday. He has asked for some fresh boxers to be brought in so I may well end up visiting later.

Oh no, that's not what anyone wants. I hope the tablets help soon. Is there any news on how your brother in law is doing?

Water tablets... maybe suggest/provide incontinence pads? I know he may be resistant but the nurses might back you up on that one.

A trip in with boxers will enable you to speak to the staff if that would help you, and save you a journey tomorrow with the changes of clothing. There doesn't seem to be such a thing as a day off, does there?

Congratulations on the awards event. It would be great if you could go there and get yourself a night away, assuming Ibiza is off the cards of course.

It is good that work have said you can have time off as and when needed this month. They obviously appreciate you.

Don't work too hard and try to give yourself a chance for a break and some you time.

Hope both Mr SA and DD have some improvements soon. They are both in the best place they can be at the moment.
