I would also suggest you screen calls and tell him you won't be answering as you need to get on with stuff. He cannot be that poorly if he is able to still pester you even from hospital.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. surprised he feels up to calling you if he has pneumonia. When I had pneumonia I felt so ill for about 4-6 weeks, couldn't even walk across the room without getting out of breath, and hardly got any sleep for coughing all the time, despite 4 different lots of antibiotics and some steroids. I'd definitely not be answering his calls, if I was you.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I’ve been to see Mr SA and he’s looking a lot better than he did yesterday apart from the corker of a shiner on his eye. I think they may well have nipped it in the bud before it took a proper hold. He’s not as confused, although when I told him DD had had another blood transfusion he asked why she was in hospital. I took a taxi there but the bus on the way back didn’t arrive so ended up walking back. It didn’t take that long, just under an hour, and the weather was lovely so no hardship. He has been warned about phoning every five minutes. Unfortunately we don’t have a landline any more so with DD being so poorly I daren’t switch my phone off. When I got back home I sat reading my book in the garden. Need to sort out something for dinner, probably veggie chilli.Really don’t feel like going back to work tomorrow, but at least it’s from home and I’m taking it steady.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Glad Mr SA is improving. Hope you got a chance to relax without the phone constantly going!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

SA - if you need time away from work whilst having both DD & MrSA in hospital, I am sure your work would more than understand.I know you are amazingly strong and you accomplish so much - but even Super Woman needs a break now and then.Lancashire

Don't forget you can just block Mr SA's number for an hour every now and then so you can have a break from pesters before unblocking again5

I'm sure work would understand you taking a few days off work to decompress given the circumstances.
Take care of yourself.3 -
I would say whether work understand or not you need time relax a little (phone calls excepted). You are not unbreakable and you didnt even get a chance to properly relax on holiday. Work wont collapse without you bbut no matter how strong you are everyone has a breaking point. Take time for yourself at home for once .
