As others have said, they're both in the best place for them so please enjoy an evening of trash telly and a glass of something nice and alone time (apart from the fur babies of course).
The people you see in handcuffs are probably other folk with challenging partners being led off for a nice rest 😂6 -
@Sun_Addict - Going back 3 decades, I was in the big city centre university hospital with a gynae emergency & while I was there, a prisoner was brought in by 2 officers who had handcuffed her to them. I remember they had to wait for quite a while & were just sitting quietly, then there was a kerfuffle & she had managed to abscond. The staff were talking about it & said that the prisoner apparently wanted a yoghurt so had been unclipped from her minders so she could get one! I couldn't help but think fair play to her if they'd fallen for that tbh!

Bless you SA, its relentless.
You deserve a lot more than one night with the remote and the wine.
Hope the break from Mr SA is the silver lining in some way even though he is quite poorly.
Foxgloves, I thought it was compulsory to see at least one person in handcuffs per hospital visit !!3 -
Not been on for a few days. Sorry to hear you had more stress but hope they both on the mend soon and you enjoy some alone time in the quiet x2

Mr SA is now en route to the other hospital and to a more specialist ward better equipped for his needs.I can’t settle to watch TV properly. Have watched a bit of Fat Friends, a bit of Red Eye (thank you @beanielou) and now watching something about Amy Winehouse. I will be going to bed soon as I’m shattered, been awake since 3.30am.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Oh dear poor you with Mr SA now in hospital but having the house to yourself apart from the dog and cats might be a bit of respite for you. I wonder if Mr SA caught something on the plane. We always tend to come back with something or another after a plane trip. Forgot to say BIL has come down with something similar to Mr SA and he was in Lanzarote the same time as us. I think because Mr SA is so immobile it’s just gone straight to his chest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
