There is one smile in the midst of all this - Mr SA has just called to remind me to bring his lip balm!
It looks like I’ll get my few days break from him, apart from hospital visits. DD is coming home today so won’t be alone. Literally one in one out!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
Oh SA, sending hugs. You really do need a break. Hope DD feels a bit better and actually embraces the wellbeing changes she agreed she needs2

Oh SA - both in hospital at the same time! So sorry you all are going through this now. Big hugs to you all. Don’t run yourself ragged - please make time for yourself to rest xx

Quick update - Mr SA has pneumonia. He’s waiting to be transferred to a different hospital when they have a bed. The A&E nurse has given me her personal mobile number so I can call before I set off just to make sure he isn’t in transit between hospitals.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Oh my days, thank goodness the suspected chest infection got him into the hospital system. Pneumonia can be nasty. My sister had it a couple of years ago (she's a little younger than Mr SA) & didn't seek medical treatment nearly early enough because she'd had a bad cold & assumed it had just gone down onto her chest. So he's in the best place for sure.
Hope your DD will now have a clearer picture about her condition so that whatever it is, she can start managing it.
What a time. Hope better news soon.

Oh goodness, what a time you are having! Sorry to hear about Mr SA and hope you get a bit of a rest. Is the new hospital easy to get to? Glad DD is coming home."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

I’ve been to see Mr SA and he’s ok, still struggling to breathe and is on an antibiotic drip and oxygen. He’s had 3 coffees but isn’t eating because he keeps being sick. He’s still in resus waiting to be moved to a respiratory ward at the other hospital.DD was supposed to be discharged today but they’ve changed their minds. So it’s just me and the fur babies tonight. Already wondering what trashy TV I can watch tonight with my hands on the remote but expect I’ll be asleep early as been awake since 3.30am. As this hospital has been a feature of 24 hours in A&E you may well see DD and Mr SA coming to a screen near you at some point 😐Every time I’ve been in A&E with Mr SA there has been someone in handcuffs with a prison officer!Had to chuckle at a man in the next bed to Mr SA. They asked him if he knew where he was and he said here 🤣 They asked him if he knew what date it was and I thought I think I’d struggle with that one 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
