Oh SA, that’s so unlucky. I have limited patience with nursing people, so would be so fed up that the urinal got spilled. It doesn’t matter what happens it always seems to make more work for you. Enjoy some down time with the pets before you start visiting. They are both in the best place to be looked after by professionals. I hope today is a better day 🌷Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Thank you all 🙂Mr SA has a chest infection and is being kept in for a few days. He’s on oxygen to help him breathe.DD was meant to be coming home today but her bloods have gone back down. She needs some clean PJs so will kill two birds with one stone and visit them both later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

For the silver lining, just think how lovely tonight will be. Peaceful time, only catering for you, watching what you want, pottering about without questions. Probably don’t be like me, who spends her unsupervised nights binging tv series’s until 1am and making unnecessary purchases online 😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I've just caught up with a couple of months of your diary SA and can only echo the other posters in saying how sorry I am to read about DD's hospitalisations, and now Mr SA's.Fingers crossed both are on the way to good recoveries. 🤞
I also fervently wish that there is some way that you can get a temporary respite from the daily worry of Mr SA, especially after your recent holiday hardly gave you any time to unwind.I'm not at all conversant in the ins and outs of care in respect of the disabled like others on this thread, but is there any scope out there for in-house carers to come in for say a weekend whilst you get away for a break? And if so just answer any phone calls that may come in from the carers or DD, NOT Mr SA!I do hope so. After your hospital visits today sit down and relax this evening with a big, cold glass of wine and enjoy your much needed alone time. 😘Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
