I agree with @Cherryfudge, think incontinence pads maybe the way to go. If he is feeling ill, there is no way he will ask for a urinal in time and will keep having accidents. Or they may have to use a catheter for a while. Hope his medication kicks in soon and he feels better.

Cherryfudge said:Oh no, that's not what anyone wants. I hope the tablets help soon. Is there any news on how your brother in law is doing?
Water tablets... maybe suggest/provide incontinence pads? I know he may be resistant but the nurses might back you up on that one.
A trip in with boxers will enable you to speak to the staff if that would help you, and save you a journey tomorrow with the changes of clothing. There doesn't seem to be such a thing as a day off, does there?
Mr SA is already wearing incontinence pads thankfully. I think he'll be fine with those and a gown. Will be easier to keep him clean and dry rather than the endless layers of clothes he's insisting on.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I doubt I'll get to see Mr SA tonight. The new vacuum cleaner is being delivered between 3.30 and 5.30 so will have to wait in for that. From past experience the local Evri courier tends to deliver later rather than earlier. I could also do with sorting out the fridge to see if anything needs throwing out and some meat and sausages need to go in the freezer today. Also a load of bananas in the fruit bowl that could do with being turned into a vegan banana loaf asap. I've told Mr SA it will probably be tomorrow before I can get. Apparently he has been phoning his sister trying to persuade her to visit him. He's a nightmare when he's in hospital! He went quiet for a bit earlier phone wise and it's because he was on a nebuliser.
I've managed to get quite a few work bits done and got my emails down to 24 that still need actioning. It has helped enormously to be busy and has taken my mind off things.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Glad you are having a productive day. What recipe do you use for the banana loaf? Last one I tried was a different one and turned out a bit stodgy.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Hope both the patients have a good night tonight.
well done on the award nomination. If it was a public vote all your MSE fans would be sending their votes on a postcard just like voting for our favourites on Opportunity Knocks all those years ago. Your vote counts folks! I even used to clap very loudly to try to influence the clap o meter 🤦♀️ (was quite a young child at the time)
I know you like to keep busy but be kind to yourself too4
