Hi SA - nightmare about your poor DD -

i can understand the utter anxiety and dread you are feeling now. Especially as my closest family live 24hr flight/layover away and my DF had a heart attack 3 weeks ago. I was hovering ready to purchase my flight tickets & told work I would have to go no matter what.  But my DF before he went into surgery told my DM that I was not to fly over and that was his very firm foot put down.

he was right as mere days later he was home and back to behaving like a man much younger than his 81 years.

The advice you’ve had is very good - relax lots of deep slow breaths - you are a mere 4hr flight away from home.  See what outcomes of the scope - and know your DD is in a place of safety and has family around her who will keep you informed.

Big hugs - try to enjoy yourself - it’s hard to do that I know - but you making yourself sick with worry won’t actually help anyone xx take care xx 🥰

  • Normal ward and being hungry is brilliant. There will be things to manage soon but she's safe and okay. Get some grub in you x

It’s a relief to know your dog is calm and happy. Dogs are like babies, whereas cats are like teenagers. They will probably be happy to go inside tomorrow after a little sulk. We feel such responsibility for our furry children. When MrWW was in hospital with an injury I was pacing the ward desperately wanting to get him out quickly because dog had been on her own for 8 hours. It’s an awful helpless feeling being where you should be instead of where your heart wants to be. I hope you are feeling more settled now you know everyone is safe and being looked after as well as possible. MrSA’s obliviousness is nice for him, but terribly hard on you.
