Progress not Perfection

Thank you all. Thank you to de-lurking @Moneywhizz, hopefully this is the case with DD 🤞

We’ve been for a walk along the sea front, had a coffee then stopped off for a sangria for me, beer for Mr SA in a very popular bar where it’s super cheap but the drinks are nice. We ended up sharing a pizza in there for lunch as I’ve still no appetite and Mr SA was hungry. I was happy with a couple of slices. At this bar you always get chatting to whoever sits next to you, it’s the law 😆 We got chatting to a couple from Birmingham who had just arrived this morning. 

No news from home. I asked DD to text me if there was anything to report and I’ll call her back. Not a lot tends to happen at hospitals at the weekend from previous vast experience. 

It’s a bit cloudier today but feels really humid. 

Mr SA has just remembered it’s his birthday tomorrow and has compiled a list of things he wants.

Good luck with the birthday shopping

My son is 15 tomorrow and can't ask for anything and doesn't want or need anything so I got him some reflective balls and keep sniggering about it 🤣

Mr SA wants a bracelet, a necklace and a bag 😐 Your son is a birthday twin with Mr SA 😆 Hope he enjoys his special day.

DIL has been to feed the cats but unfortunately hasn’t seen them 🙁 I was hoping she’d be able to get them inside the house. They’ve eaten their food though. They must wonder what on earth is going off. The dog is fine thankfully. I can’t wait to get back home to them all. If DD isn’t 100% for when we go to Ibiza I will try to move to next year or cancel if need be, not worth the stress.

You said there was some blood around.  I wondered if that was what was stopping the cats from going indoors.

Would assume he got thousands of bags etc by now lol. 

Don't think he really understands birthdays but he getting McDonald's for tea which suits me as husband will fetch it so no cooking for me 😁

They won’t come in for people they’re not very familiar with and always hide when the GKs visit.

Another day more or less gone. 2 days until we travel home. As much as I love it here will be so very glad to get back home. Mr SA is only bothered about having nothing to wear tonight despite having several nice tops and shorts not worn yet 😐 Also what he’s going to eat later 😐 It must be nice to be so oblivious to the important things in life. 

The shops here are amazing could spend a fortune. On the plus side I’m not in a shopping mood. No I do not need a gold biker jacket 🤣

I bet you would look fab in a bin bag SA - and if Mr SA gets to pester his way to a hundred bags, necklaces & bracelets then you should get your gold bike jacket 😍
