Good to hear that your DD is enjoying the food - a good sign, I think. And hospital portions aren't huge so she can't go too far wrong.
And gorgeous photos. I checked to see if my DD and SiL are on them as they go to Lanzarote the same time as you, but I can't spot them.
Please send some sun...I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Lovely photos. Looks beautiful there.
Good news that DD is ok & nothing seriously wrong. At least the Drs have checked & not just ignored the symptoms as can sometimes be the case.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Glad you been in touch with daughter
Hope Mr SA has a good birthday and you relax a bit and enjoy sunbathing and gin x2 -
Just catching up with your diary after a busy weekend. Blimey what a manic couple of days you've had!
Glad to hear DD is doing well. Try not to worry about the cats. They can fend for themselves.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday. You deserve it.
Oh and happy birthday to Mr SA.2 -

Good news in that the cats have been sighted although still won’t come inside. They’re eating the food DIL is leaving out for them.Heard about the rain back home 🙁 It’s absolutely beautiful here. How lucky are those who live here as the weather is like this all year round give or take the odd dodgy day. Nothing grows here though due to lack of rain apart from cactus. For those who’ve never been here it’s a sort of mash up of Spain and Africa.Mr SA wants fish and chips for his birthday meal so goodness knows where we’ll end up tonight, talk about Brits abroad 😬
Sadly not had gin yet but hopefully tonight 🙂
His necklace and bracelet are made of volcanic lava rather than anything Mt T would wear @dawnybabes 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Have a good time but fml fish and chips you can get that anytime - get him into a place off the beaten track and sample some local food.2
