DD coming home - even greater.
No appetite - I won't encourage that but it might let you off the bootcamp when you get home. I always like to treat myself to local spices when I'm on holiday, so I can dream of the sun when I'm cooking (and refill the bottles so I keep the souvenir).
MY DD is in Lanzarote at the moment and says that though it can be a bit cloudy and windy, it's still fine for sunbathing.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Not been reading for a few days so only just seem about your daughter, glad to hear nothing serious has been found but sorry it has spoilt you holiday.I get about 300 miles to a tank & it costs me between £60-£70 to fill up so £45ish for 200 miles?:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j2

Quick update as having a G&T in a bar. DD is still in hospital but going home once her iron
drip has finished. The dog is back home, the older cat is back in the house, the young cat has been sighted but won’t come in. I’m going to give DS £200 this should well cover the petrol and leave plenty for a nice treat. He doesn’t want it but I’ve insisted. It has been worth it for my peace of mind. I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
