Oh no. Hope you don't have a lurgy!

I don't feel any worse anyway. It's no surprise I've picked something up as the office has been really busy recently and a few have gone down with Covid. I was also at the extremely busy Christmas market on Saturday. If I feel worse tomorrow I'll do a test.
I've been out and had my nails done and on the way back went into the charity shop and bought a lovely Christmas ornament for £2. Mr SA was adamant this ornament lights up (it doesn't) and has fiddled with it that much he's broken part of it off 🤬 He just wouldn't be said! It is fixable though.
Another windows/door payment has gone out so now there is only £300.72 left to pay. Just two more payments and it's gone 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Another thing which I find soothing for lergies is the Belvoir cordial variety which contains elderberries - the old version disappeared off the shelves for ages, but there is now a new version which I have bought ready for if I am stricken - it contains echinacea, elderflower & elderberry. I haven't tried this one yet, but the old version was really soothing for sore throats & coughs when made up with hot water from the kettle. I reckon I could maybe even get Mr F to partake of a mug of that & he is the worst patient in the world (well, apart from my best friend's husband, tbf).
Feel better soon,

Thank you for the sore throat tips. I find anything fizzy is also soothing especially Prosecco 🤣
Here is the ornament. Mr SA broke the lamp because he was adamant it lit up even though it was obvious it didn’t. I’ve mended it with the string from a gift tag.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Just got back from the office and cooking Mr SA’s dinner before heading out to the lights switch on and my tombola stall. I’m sure it will be a nice evening but no way am I volunteering again!I’ve got a stinker of a cold! When I get back tonight it’s straight in the bath then bed.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I'd have cried off, saying I was ill. You will make yourself feel worse and possibly infect others as well. I'm sure they would have understood. Its a cold night to be going out. Round here the frost hasn't thawed off the grass all day. Take care.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I hope the evening isn't too hard and you can get over it quickly.
I love the ornament, she has a sort of 1940s look to her.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
