I hope the tombola is successful.
fingers crossed you will feel much better tomorrow.1 -
I managed to get away a bit early. We were unbelievably busy on the stall and most of the prizes had gone by the time I left. It was a lovely atmosphere, all the local independent shops stayed open and there was a stage with dancers and a singer. Mr SA made an appearance with the dog 😬 I must admit being outside cleared my head, now I’m back indoors I’m stuffed up again.DS and the GKs are also full of cold so we must’ve picked it up at the Christmas market on Saturday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Morning all, happy Thursday 😊
Final working day of the week for me and thank goodness WFH. It's freezing cold and we've either had a very heavy frost or a light dusting of snow, can't decide which. Typical that I'm off out tonight in a very thin Abba costume, it's been many many years since I've ventured out in thin clothes in winter - how well I remember the days of strappy dresses and sandals in December 😆
Still haven't told Mr SA about tonight but will break it to him later this morning.
Payday is here and the payday shuffle has been done. CC balance paid off again for the second time this week, only £1.98 pending now.
£60 has gone to the random expenses pot, £55.66 to the 1p saver pot, £12.59 to the Christmas 2024 pot, £250 to the holiday pot and I will be sending £100 to Premium Bonds shortly. Regular savers will be added to tomorrow.
Did well with a few surveys this morning before I got out of bed, will be cashing out November earnings later. Should be in the region of £50-ish.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime stretch & tone class and lots of dancing tonight.
Eating at a Greek restaurant before the concert so that's tonight's dinner sorted for me. Will make Mr SA a beef stew in the slow cooker then he can help himself - must remind him to switch it off!
Can't believe it's December tomorrow!

So I’ve broken the news to Mr SA 😬 He’s not happy but I’ve reminded him I haven’t had a night out with friends for over 4 years.Of course I’ve had the question “how much is that costing us”. Told him it’s cost US nothing as it’s paid for out of survey money that I’ve earned in MY spare time!!
I refuse to wear a hair shirt over this 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
