Pleased you had a great night and Mr SA came around to the idea….not that it’d made any difference to you going but at least you went knowing the only frostiness was outside and not in the house when you arrived home.

That brought back memories re the frostiness comment.  Years ago the old Mr SA would’ve made my life a misery for weeks after a night out with snide comments etc 🙁

It ended up a spends day as I decided to go to Aldi as it would save me going to Mr T tomorrow. Took the dog so she got a good walk and it got me some fresh air and 10,000 steps. Bought a bottle of the clementine and cranberry gin supposedly for Christmas 🤣 and had to open it to test it in case it was off 😉 Oh my it is delicious 😋

Made a start on putting up the Christmas decorations. Put up the new pre-lit tree I got from Am@zon and I’m really pleased with it. Still need to put baubles on but it looks great without them to be honest. I love how you can change the lights from multi coloured to white to suit plus it fits perfectly in the corner of the room.

It won’t be a late night tonight that’s for sure, feel really bunged up and ready for an early night.

Take care SA this cold is awful. I think I may be coming out the other side but I have a dreadful cough and frightened Mr LH to death when I was coughing so much I could barely breathe. I think he is really getting it now after hovering for a few days. I guess I am taking the dog out shortly.

    Morning happy Saturday 🥂

Another cold one. Not the best weather to be rummaging around in the freezer looking for Mr SA’s curry to defrost for tonight. Eventually found it in the outside freezer. I thought my fingers were going to drop off!
Not going far today just the park across the road with the dog and then the local shops for a paper.
Still full of cold and feeling bunged up.
Going to attempt some more Christmas decorating. I got all the boxes out yesterday and I’m surrounded by them which is doing my head in as I hate mess and clutter. I feel like throwing everything in the bin. Need to clear a space so I can do my ClubFit class in 30 minutes time.
Must do some cleaning up today too, will concentrate on upstairs then will do downstairs tomorrow. I actually don’t feel like doing anything but needs must and I’ll feel better once it’s done.
Curry night tonight Mr SA’s is already sorted so just mine to make.
Prosecco in the fridge for Strictly 💃

Shame you don’t live nearer as you’d never have to buy one again 😆 It just doesn’t suit me but I keep getting them in gift sets and beauty boxes. I wear brown.

  • I'm not a fan of eye liner or mascara, and they seem to be in every free set etc. I give them to the boys friends usually.

As I get older I wear less and less makeup. For work it’s usually a CC cream, a bit of bronzer, eye liner, mascara and lipstick. I always wear an eyelash primer under my mascara as it makes my eyelashes very long, have been asked if they’re false several times 😆 I have green eyes so supposed to wear purple eyeshadow to make them pop but can’t see a difference to be honest. As long as I look vaguely alive when I leave the house I’m fine with that 🤣

The Christmas decorations are more or less done. Still need to buy a tree topper as the ones I’ve got are too heavy for the smaller tree. Still really pleased with the new tree will post a photo when it’s finished.

Only spent £1.40 on a paper today so a very low spend day.

Popped in the charity shop I donated all the things to last Sunday and was pleased to see several of my donations out on sale 🙂

There has been an ambulance and paramedic car outside the house across the road from me for some time. The residents are elderly, I hope they’re ok 🙏
