That's Monday done. Worked in the office until just after lunchtime then finished up at home.
The snow had completely gone this morning to be replaced by torrential rain. Got soaked walking to work and soaked again on the way back. Tripped over something on the pavement on the way to work and only just managed to stop myself from falling!
Treated myself to a coffee from the work coffee shop this morning, belated payday treat.
Realised just how much Wilko is going to be missed when I tried without success to find a star or fairy to put on top of the new Christmas tree. They would've had one for sure. Going to try BnM when I'm in the office again on Wednesday as there's one fairly close by.
MSE type things - picked up the free hand cream courtesy of the MnS Sparks offer. Have also done 2 PA surveys totalling £6.
Today's exercise is the walking to/from work, just over 20,000 steps. That will do for today.
Tonight's dinner is leftover chickpea curry from Saturday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -

Hope your B&M wasn’t as crazily busy as mine 😳 I went in for kitchen roll and ended up walking out…..ThE QUEUES 😳😳😳and everyone had full trolleys. I walked next door to Mr M’s. I got a couple of other bits too. I ended up asking the lovely cashier to undo the safety fastener on a cleaning product I’d bought and have to wait for Dh to open for me….my grip is non existent and I was raring to get going with some cleaning 👍January spends - £587.581

I always go to BnM when it opens at 8am @milann, same with Primani. Any later than 10am and they’re both chaos.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today thank goodness.
Mr M delivery has been and all packed away. Unfortunately they subbed Mr SA's beer with a not so good deal so sent it back. They don't sub or have missing items very often but when they do it's always Mr SA's beer. I've booked another delivery for Thursday as it appears to be back in stock then also added a couple of things I forgot on this order so has come in handy in the end.
Didn't do my Monday finance check yesterday so did it this morning. CC has been cleared again just a couple of items pending. In the final week of the 4 week budget period, predicting a small underspend across all budgets but much less than last month as have been buying extras to put away for Christmas. I think for next Christmas I'll add an extra £100 in the Christmas pot as although we don't go mad buying lots of extra food the little bits soon add up.
Sent £5.87 interest from the current account to the Christmas 2024 pot. £200 sent to the Nwide Regular Saver. Still need to send £250 to the other one.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is leftover lentil stew from Sunday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

Just spent ages looking for Mr SA's keys, practically turned the house upside down including getting everything out of the recycling bin as that was the last place he remembered having them. He even tried to blame me! Guess where they were? Only on the lanyard round his neck 🤬 He had put his coat and scarf on to take the dog out and didn't notice them! Honestly than man will drive me demented!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
