I swapped from the one that you're with to the one that you're considering. Easiest £200 ever plus the HT had his child trust fund with them and as my switch was so painless he opened a current account using his matured trust fund. A couple of months later we were both qualified for the £100 profit share.
The cats here let our cat think she's boss. They let her give them a few bats with her paw and run away when she hisses. They don't go far though and when she comes in they all trundle back for some cat treats 🤣3 -
Thank you for your comments @Willowtree222 and @CRANKY40 I think I will definitely switch. We have our mortgage with NTionwide and never had any problems, they’ve been great.
Mr SA has complained about his evening meal as his steak, roast potatoes and steamed vegetables didn’t come accompanied by a baguette 😐
Once I’ve packed away the dinner pots and cleaned up the kitchen I will be pouring myself a glass of wine to watch Jamie Oliver then it’s an early night ready for a busy day in the office tomorrow - have more or less back to back meetings all day plus a friends of the park across the road meeting tomorrow night (although in a pub so not all bad 😆).I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
How could you not have a baguette for Mr SA? Only joking I am sure he will survive.

Oh and it’s been a NSD and managed to get the washing dry as it was dry and windy most of the day despite the odd shower - two MSE wins 👍
Very late to the party but just finished reading This is going to hurt by Adam Kay, made me laugh out loud. On the other hand it was so sad he had to give up medicine due to the sorry state of the NHS as it sounded like he was a great doctor. He said a shift supervisor at McDonalds is paid more than a junior doctor - that’s dire ☹️ When I was in labour with DS I had a junior doctor assigned to me and I remember him being sent away to catch a quick nap then returning about an hour later looking absolutely shattered. He’d never witnessed a baby being born before and he was amazed by it all. He visited me on the ward the next day to check how I was and he just looked absolutely exhausted. I was exhausted too but had the luxury of being able to sleep which I suspect he was denied 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

I had every junior Dr in the hospital visit me once. I was one of those rare once in a career cases so had a line outside. Even in a&e they were all.told.to come. Felt like I was in some sort of show and eventually asked for it to stop. They took pictures instead!September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
I had one visit from a terrified doctor trying to wish that nothing was going to go wrong after what she had done on my next to last hospital visit. When I moved over 200 miles away imagine my delight to discover she had become a gynae consultant at my local hospital.

My friend blames being a junior doctor for never learning to drive. She said she was either working or trying to get a couple of hours sleep. She also said it was the only period in her life when she never had to diet because she didn't have time to eat.
Mr S_A's baguette (or lack thereof) reminded me of the time my gran tried to give grandad a salad as his evening meal. He ate the lot (it was a big salad) then handed his plate to my gran and asked if she had anything more substantial. You know when you're not sure if you should stay and watch or make a run for it (I'm a coward, I ran). Grandad had a military medal from WWII and had to eat grass when there was no food as they went through France so he knew that he was entitled to a proper dinner. Gran was a tough little Scottish lady who survived Glasgow slum clearances. I don't recall grandad ever being given a salad ever again.5
