You'll just have to give up being good at your work, well informed, obliging and recognisable. Probably becoming unrecognisable would do for a day or so till they cottoned on... or you could move out of the area?

Enjoy the wine, and I hope the cat's okay.

Morning happy Sunday. Looks a bit damp out there this morning.

I’ve been thinking about switching banks for some time now and am very tempted by the Nationwide offer. I’ve never switched banks before, have been with the H@lif@x ever since I was old enough to have a current account. Never had any issues with them but don’t get anything from them either for being a loyal customer. It’s payday on Friday so probably best to leave it until after that.

Main task for today is giving the house a good clean/tidy. Need to take the dog for a run on the park at some point.

Tonight’s dinner is the final portion of nut roast from the freezer with roast beetroot and swede plus loads of steamed veggies. Going to make a batch of red lentil soup for work lunches. Leftover pizza from last night for today’s lunch. And of course there is the usual leftover Prosecco, too busy singing and dancing along with the TV last night 😆

Now to rinse the hair mask off, make a coffee and join the live WW mindfulness session.

  • You can start the switch and select a future date anyway so if you did want to go ahead, it wouldn't be before Friday.

    Have a lovely Sunday x

Poor cat!  They do look funny though with their bushy tails .... mine had an altercation too yesterday and I think it fired him up as he brought in a mouse later.  He's quite compliant when asked to exit pronto with mouse via the front door.  Trouble is he goes straight round the back and through his cat flap so we locked the cat flap and horror of horrors forgot to unlock it before we went to bed.  Poor cat ate a huge breakfast and has been asleep since.
