    That's Tuesday done.

I'm annoyed with MnS because when I returned from holiday I ordered the September beauty box as I knew I wouldn't be in the city centre until the following week. I ordered it on 6 September to collect on the 11th. It still hasn't arrived at the store! Looking at my order history it was dispatched then it looks like it got lost and it was re-despatched. No indication of when to expect it and there's no option to cancel it! I wish I'd waited and bought it instore, I just thought it might sell out quickly hence ordering online.

M & S are certainly not what they were & I find their customer service dire now.
    Sad but true.

That's Wednesday more or less done. Have been in the office this morning and just finishing up a few bits at home. Managed to dodge the rain on the way there but got caught in it on the way home.

The Cov Regular Saver matured yesterday and the interest landed in my current account this morning. It was half the amount I was expecting so logged into the Cov and it appears I should've sent one more payment this month to get the full interest and I mistakenly thought I'd done the 12 payments. So I haven't got the full amount of interest. So cross with myself for not double checking 😒 Another lesson learned the hard way!

I knew I'd get mixed up having 3 regular savers on the go!

Not a NSD as I needed to go to Lid! on the way home.

Today's exercise is walking to/from work and Zumba at 6pm.

Tonight's dinner is a portion of mushroom curry (PON recipe) from the freezer with rice.

    Still cross with myself 😠

  • Don't beat yourself ab out the interest. It is hard juggling money with lots of different accounts, I have found that already...lol. At least you'll know to check next year. And any amount of interest is better than nothing.

I’m putting the maximum in the other two regular savers so know how much they should hold but the maximum for the Cov was £500 a month and I couldn’t often send that much with funding the other ones so amounts were more random. Plus I had a letter from them saying it was maturing so I thought I didn’t need to add any more. I’ll get over it eventually 😆

It must be frustrating but you are doing amazingly having three on the go and you will have earned considerably more than if you’d have left the money in current.

And I’m guessing you have maxed the other accounts because they offered the best interest, so you will win there.

Those maturing letters are annoying.  Some banks send them way before the year has ended.  I now put all mine on a spreadsheet with all the dates on there & a DD with an end date.  Mine you can change the amount of the DD.  I get so fed up with getting emails with your whatever is ending soon.  I had one before it had even reached 10 months.  Yes warn me before but please don't extract the Michael.  Are they setting us up to fail.  Surely they wouldn't do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
