AI is probably not the best tool for something like that. A simple graphics application would be better, both in terms of functionality and sustainability. The amount of energy and water required by AI to perform simple tasks is shocking. Once it stops being free people will realise that most of the things they currently use it for can be done better, cheaper, and more sustainably using simpler technology.

That's really interesting, @greenbee . I know I need to learn but to be honest I could have done it myself using older stuff that was on a former laptop - or perhaps even drawn it freehand.

    Morning all, happy Friday 🥂

Working in the office until 12 then out on the lash with work friends 🤣

Thank you @greenbee for the useful AI information. I’ve used the basic copilot version before to search for ideas without success but realised I wasn’t asking the right questions. Work have now deemed me responsible enough to have a full license 🫣but no idea what I’m going to use it for other than take notes and summarise documents.

Oh @Cherryfudge bubble writing, now that takes me back!

I ended up going to the park meeting last night but only stayed an hour.

I have a full copilot licence @sun_addict and rarely use it except for generating basic meeting notes and action items which I then have to review against the transcript anyway. It frequently gets stuff wrong and I’m fed up with being invited to irrelevant meetings by people who didn’t check. AI doesn’t understand context, so unless you check, it doesn’t pick up on e.g. I don’t need to be involved in the specific task, but I do need to be involved in the broader review of the data… and it is also hopeless at helping with meeting scheduling.

I've got the full licence at work and use it a fair amount. I do find the meeting notes useful, but go through straight after the meeting to correct them while it's still fresh in my mind. I find it useful for getting me started on documents, and I do a lot of research so it's helpful with that. However, I make sure I always go back to the source as it doesn't get nuance at all.

I had a lovely afternoon with my friends. All over much too soon as nice things usually are. We bumped into a Scotsman in a kilt visiting and looking for bar recommendations then spotted a bloke casually standing outside a shop dressed in medieval clothes, including a staff, chatting to someone about how his missus wasn’t very well. Just a normal Friday in our city centre 🤣

Back home in time to cook Mr SA’s dinner.

Thankfully managed to dodge the rain.
