That’s another weekend almost done 😭
Had a really busy day. Made a vegan banana loaf and a batch of butternut squash soup this morning which used up some things that needed using.
Took the dog on the park and did a litter pick.
Pegged out some washing as it was sunny and windy again. Really mild in the sun, I had to take my scarf off and unzip my coat 😆
Had a massive clean up of the house as DD was at work so had free rein of the kitchen and bathroom 🥳 All the floors have been mopped and vacuumed.
Seriously considering getting one of those robot vacuums/mops for downstairs. I can’t believe the crumbs and mud!
Did a meal plan for next week.Did a massive pile of ironing when the washing had dried.
Tonight’s dinner is a portion of vegan nut roast from freezer stocks with the PON leeks and cabbage recipe and steamed veg. Mr SA is having a beef stew made from the PON slow cooker book.
Didn’t manage to get everything on my to do list done but I think I was a tad optimistic with it.
Had a nice relaxing soak in the bath with a face mask and candles. I’ve got an overnight hair mask on that needs to be washed off in the morning.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Your bath sounds lovely. Your meal plan reminded me to do a meal plan of my own 😊

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until late morning then WFH this afternoon. It was lovely to walk to work in the light for the first time this year, really brought a bit of cheer to a Monday morning.
Stopped off a Lid! on the way home but no veg boxes sadly.
On the final countdown to payday on Friday. It's also the final week of the 4 week budget period. On track for an underspend.
Monday finance check has been done and cc balance cleared.
Mr SA's new phone has arrived so I need to set that up for him and return the broken one. Let's see how long this phone lasts him…
The GP was meant to be phoning Mr SA with his scan results today but she's off sick so the appointment has been rearranged. I tried to look for the results on the NHS app but they're not there.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and I'm doing a live strength training class tonight.
Tonight's dinner is the final portion of veggie lasagne from freezer stocks with salad.
Have had to move my Wednesday Mr M delivery to tomorrow afternoon as the dog is nearly out of food and they didn't have the one she has in Mr T at the weekend or anywhere locally.
Glad I made the time to peg out a line of washing first thing as it was dry by the time I arrived home. Just need to iron it now.
Oh and last but not least I hit my 2000 day Duolingo streak today.

Well done on your Duo streak, that's amazing!

Brilliant Duo streak, I hope they gave you a freeby for it. I'm finding I understand some stuff on Portuguese notices because of doing other romance languages, but am thoroughly confused as to what bit of what languages I'm stringing together to work things out. Not that I've got anywhere near as for with mine as you have.

The surgery has the results, it's just that the GP was off sick. Normally you can view the results on the NHS app but they're not there. He's got another appointment anyway.
It's really windy where we live as our house is at the top of a hill with nothing at the back of us. It's a nightmare for keeping your hair tidy but great for drying washing!

Afternoon all, happy Tuesday.
Worked in the office this morning, WFH this afternoon. That's the two worst days of the week done and no going back to the office until Friday 🎉
Stopped off at Lidl on the way home. Managed to get a veg box, although it's more fruit than veg, very happy with it though for £2. Picked up a free doughnut for Mr SA and now have a free muffin to pick up for him.
Mr M delivery arrived shortly after I got back home. The delivery driver was saying he works for Ocado but delivers for Mr M as well. The goods are from the same fulfilment centre in the West Midlands. It seems crazy when there's a huge Mr M 2-3 miles away.
Had a right to do transferring the data from Mr SA's broken phone to the replacement one last night. It took ages and it was so hard to see what I was doing on the old phone because of the state of the screen. I ended up calling customer services for the insurance who referred me to T mobile customer services saying they could transfer the data over from their end. T customers services were no help whatsoever and suggested we take the phone to a repair shop and pay for it to be repaired! That's what the insurance is for!! In the end I g00gled what to do and managed to bypass the Smart Switch app that the old phone wouldn't download. I'm sure last year it was a lot easier than this. I'm used to iPhones so struggle a bit with android. Mr SA has been threatened I won't help him again if he's careless with the new phone. It's alright for him sitting there with his feet up watching TV while others faff about after him. While I was faffing about I changed his settings so the screen lock doesn't come on after 5 seconds inactivity which is what he had it set at, I can't tell you how frustrating that was putting the pin in constantly!
Anyway it's all sorted now so I just need to put the old phone back to factory settings and send it to the insurance company.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and I'm doing a live resistance bands session tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a home made spicy beanburger from freezer stocks with wedges and salad.
