Morning all, happy hump day.
I've decided to take today off work and have just had my request approved by my manager. I've got the hairdressers this morning then the pneumonia vaccine at lunchtime plus DD is at work today so too good an opportunity to have a good catch up on the to do list.
Mid week finance check done and cc balance cleared.
Hoping for a very productive day.

Enjoy your day off. Hope you get some 'you' time too.

Afternoon all.
What a lovely sunny and quite warm day ☀️ Got 3 loads of washing dry.Went to the hairdressers for a trim and blow dry then went to the PO to send Mr SA’s broken phone back to T mobile. I popped into a little boutique as it had a gorgeous t shirt in the window. It was the last one and luckily in my size 🥳 Ended up also buying a bright pink jumper and a lightweight scarf 🫢
Had to buy some milk yet again and also managed to pick up a few yellow sticker bargains - courgettes, mini naans, panini and salad leaves.
Then took the dog on the park and did a litter pick.
Back home to give the bathroom a good clean then it was time to set off for the pneumonia jab.
After lunch I shampooed the landing carpet and it looks so much better for it. I can’t believe how much hair the machine sucked up!
While Mr SA was sleeping I gave all the floors a good vacuum and mop. The mess around and under the chair where he sits in the living room 😖Did a load of ironing then finally got around to planting some seeds. They’re now in trays in the dining room window.
Today’s exercise was live yoga first thing, loads of walking and it’s live Zumba at 6.Made butternut squash dhal for tonight’s dinner.
So glad I decided to take today off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

What a productive day! I think you can be allowed some treats especially since they're technically your celebration for being mortgage free 🥂
You are a much nicer person than me, I would have stopped buying the milk you don't even use a long time ago

That is not my idea of a day off 😂 I bet you felt great for having accomplished so much - you definitely deserved the boutique treats!

Morning all, happy Friday eve. This week is flying by!
Also payday eve for me.
WFH today so had a lovely relaxing start to the day.
One area of concern from my day off yesterday was that I fancied going for a walk after lunch before I recommenced household tasks. Mr SA was having his siesta but I had to go into the bedroom to fetch my coat (although with hindsight it was warm enough to go without). This woke him up and he asked if he could come with me and I said no I just want to go for a walk and listen to a podcast. I only went round the block but on the way back guess who I bumped into - yes Mr SA, he'd come looking for me. This is one of the things I dread when I retire. Mental note to make sure I have a coat hanging in the cupboard downstairs or in my office to prevent this happening in future.
Today's exercise plan is a short yoga session, taking the dog on the park later this morning, a lunchtime live strength training session and live Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is chipotle & lime black bean tacos with sweetcorn relish, a recipe a bumped off my meal plan last week but as I need to use up a pack of tacos, it's back on the menu.
It should be a NSD too.
