Happy birthday grandmanerd! 🎉🎉🎉The chaise longue transforms into a sedan chair for you now.thrifty_taylor, when I was an au pair in Spain, I was out and about with a friend and we found ourselves in some sort of protest (students??). I remember running very fast when the horses were moving swiftly towards us! I'd forgotten about it until you told us your story about ds1. Happy days 🤣🤣🤣!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!9

Fantastic news @greent! 🥰🎉
Yes, DS1 will have quite a few tales to tell us on his return! Maybe he should write a book 😉Use it up, wear it out

Happy birthday, Grandmanerd.
Thank you everyone. The medicine is working and I can see a bit now. I appreciate that all these people are under pressure but it seems like common sense has just gone out the window and nobody wants to take responsibility for making a decision.
Great news, Greent
Thrifty - I wouldn't worry about him. They are always having demonstrations in Paris and there was a big one the other day. Sounds like what it was like when we were last there, Riot police, firecrackers and very noisy. It looks more frightening than it actually is. If he was at Pere La Chaise he has undoubtedly come across the biggest one. Apart from the difficulties which he has solved (and turning his Mother's hair grey) I bet he's having a great time.
So, I have completely lost track of NSDs, the house is an absolute tip and neither of us have been eating properly. Sending Himself to Aldi shortly for some filled pasta (probably a mistake). Got a home made tomato sauce defrosting. So that's dinner sorted.
I'm going to finish this coffee and try to summon some enthusiasm to get something, anything done.
Hugs to everyone
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -
Our washing machine door broke but a replacement door is coming. That’s been paid from a renovation pot. So not an NSD yesterday so still 7/15.
Looking after sisters dog overnight last night so just need to walk her today.
Don’t feel well enough to do much today. Hoping to go and find a new curtain rail for our bedroom.Have a good rest of the weekendLightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £175/£2609 -
Happy birthday @grandmanerdThe ice landscape at the bottom of the living room window double glazing (outside) has just melted. It was very pretty, like seaweed, but it is Brrrrrrr! Glad I do not have to go outside today. Flippin' freezing inside anyway!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Happy birthday @grandmanerd :-) I am just skipping by to say happy sunny Sunday and trying to be my best me I have now joined a gym w pool locally - it's expensive but I have joined w ds1 and the plan is to go together in mainly initially. I just had my first swim since November, 40 minutes and I am absolutely burnt. SO slightly less running and more overall training, I am also at day 9 of my 30 days of yoga - so all chucking along, booked my first day with writing mentor and an other day of printmaking in an other studio. Bought a pile of books so less nsd this weekend, but all planned and for project money.
Dinner is on the slow cooker and its writing and marking for the rest of the day.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
