Final day of the month and I finish on 15NSDs. Some money left over at the end of the month so that's a bonus!
Glad I've found my way back to the 🐢🐢🐢 hangout. It's definitely focused me more on not spending when I don't have to, and got me thinking more MSE again!
See you all in February.7 -

Evening Turtles. January went well in the main, didn’t run out of money and added to my premium bonds. Managed to avoid using any credit cards and restricted my drinking to weekends only to save some money. Next project is saving for new patio doors as I am fed up with DS2 keep sliding them off their runners every time he goes outside. Wouldn’t want them done until the weather warms up a bit so have a few months to save.
Started walking again after a break for a couple of weeks while I shook off the lurgy. Hopefully it will help kickstart my weight loss again. I will get back to 10 stone something by the summer!
Thank you for January grandmanerd and see you all in February.

I finished the month on 14 NSDs.
The wind & rain are really bad today, the school's weren't closed (maybe tomorrow 🤞) but all boats to the Scottish mainland were cancelled (currently sounds like the roof us going to blow off!!)
Work went ok, though the teacher was quite grumpy! She did message me tonight to apologise. Had the dentist afterwards. The dentist has been to some of my sewing classes, so we had a good chat 😊
After tea I put a new zip into a coat, then sorted out the paperwork for our passport applications. Can post them & the 2 jackets to one of the northern isles on my way home tomorrow. Went in the bath & fell asleep!
Grateful for hearing that our school is going to be a BSL school after summer, our applications progressing, for this month's thread - thank you @grandmanerdUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
