No NSD yest, small spend in the charity shop, picked up a couple of skirts and a top.

Good morning,
just did a bit of money shuffling. I decided to put the debt from CC1 (29%) onto CC2 (only 10%) and pay the £115 fee to do so. Over the next 5 months I planned to pay that off I would have paid at least £160 (even if less because of reducing balance, sill worth it) in interest. No it's all in one place and at a lower interest rate.
Did another few surveys last night, another £17 waiting to go onto the CC.
So looking forward to a short month, paying off the family debt and moving in the right direction.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2510 -
Afternoon Turtles
After a week of doing virtually nothing I'm starting to get myself together and today was quite productive, Getting organised and planning so doing things will be a bit easier. Lovely Greent has been such a help So supportive and pointing out practicalities that I hadn't even thought about.
Himself has had his first lesson on how the slow cooker works today and tomorrow we move on to the washing machineThink the ironing might be a step too far.
Hope you are all well. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -
Afternoon Turtles. Only 1 more day till payday, yay! Although I still haven’t run out of money, probably forgot to pay a bill or something!
OH and I had our annual argument on Saturday, it was most exciting and I got to say lots of very rude swear words. He was putting the new hand rail up in the hallway and pointed out it was higher than the bannister rail so I agreed which was obviously the wrong answer so a fair bit of diy rage ensued. 2 of the children got out of their beds to spectate it was so entertaining.
Still waiting for the 8 tentacled power company to give me the results of last weeks energy saving session. After sitting in the cold and dark for an hour and a half, it had better be good. OH did another one by himself this morning whilst I was at work, so more pennies towards my bill.
Have already prepared tonight’s tea, so off for a walk down the seafront in the sunshine.

Yup still in January. Sun is shining though. Took dog on a longer walk this morning as have an online meeting. She was supposed to be tired, but she's pacing between my room and my son's room as he is home with a sore throat.
Fingers crossed meeting turn out well.
Had meeting with a writing mentor - he then sent 7 pages of feedback. I am a bit overwhelmed. So I slept for 2 hours and now I'm still just tired. I am waiting for an other few books to be delivered, and then that is it for this round. Except I ordered 2 copies of a £40 book, so now need to work out how to return it. I really do need to read everything a bit closer.
This is why I have joined in February, I need to keep on top of things, keep motivated, I genuinely just get tired and fall asleep when I am overwhelmed. A bit next level in terms of avoidance. But luckily quite rare these days.

Feeling rough today, felt like I was coming down with something last night and had a bad night's sleep. Tested positive for covid so that's that for a few days. Was feeling OK to work from home so just used the opportunity to have an admin day.Took the opportunity to sort and finalise my budget for Feb and move money into various different pots. Have a new strategy to try and help me stop "losing" money, which I seem to do every month without fail. Also sent £25 to my investment pot.Felt a bit better around lunchtime so did some gentle yoga as my back was hurting. Hasn't really helped so currently sitting with my TENS machine on.Nothing much else to report, just plodding along until the start of next month now.NSD's - 18Healthy food days - 18Workouts this week - 511

Today I am grateful for only needing a check up at the dentist, for dc going to school, for dh having some extra work this week, for probably ending up at about 90% of Jan being sugar free (my chocolate stash is still intact!), for a cunning plan for feb starting to swirl around my brain.

Spending day today so still on 15, and I suspect I'll finish the month on that.
Work all day, teachers on strike so DD had a day with grandparents and not much else happened 🙃.
Very grateful my mum and dad are close enough and fit enough to look after DD when needed.

Evening turtles,
Got paid today but wasn’t due until tomorrow! Anyway my payrise I’d calculated as £89 turned out to be £68.I’ve set up a standing order to buy premium bonds each month. I’m also going to start a gifts pot as had a lovely month not having to buy much and I really enjoyed the extra money.
I think I’m on NSD 11/15. I’m starting slimquick on Friday so needed all the stuff for that yesterday but no spend day today as will fill all my pots on the 1st.
Nothing but wfh. help with homework, make a roast and plan February for today. Not bad for a Monday.Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £150/£26010
