I've done my back a mischief - stabbing pain like a stitch on my upper back (coughing too much or pulled/ strained something whilst lifting), so proceeding cautiously. 3 rubbish & recycling bags went downstairs with me (first 2 were thrown) and another 7 joined them later. 2 bins brought back to the house, TD emptied and 2 loads of clean dry washing brought back upstairs, sorted DW refilled it properly and set it off. I hurt too much to reload the WM and TD. Paid mum's final water bill.
Read, played games, tracked down details to go in the estate accounts, ate from stores (had a small delivery mainly fruit and veg) whilst sitting on the couch. Using up toiletries, medical items from mum's and ex's, short message exchange with DS2 (I'd asked him to send some photos of the baby to a friend's e-mail address). Salad of finely sliced leeks, baby tomatoes and green peppers, bread buns and sliced meat put away in the freezer before Blackpool, tin of 5 bean salad mix, tin of soup, grapes, easy peelers and decluttered the remains of a tub of vanilla ice cream to help my sore throat. Cleaned the inside of the front door with white vinegar spray and a double sided sponge/ scrubby pad.
Grateful for books (as I'd spent on the food order I also ordered essentials - toilet rolls for next month and some 'next in series' books), my bed, the couch, doing things sitting down and in slow stages.

Good afternoon,
had a semi-productive weekend. Listed jeans on V1nted, finalized my Z1ffit parcel, listed my Rebus novels as a job lot on 3bay, tidied the conservatory etc. The kids even tidied their room and toys in the living room. Went on a nice walk in the Botanical gardens. Even got some washing dried outside. Still need to meal plan laterDEBT 09/23: CC 6347 5120, Other 1763 NSDs 0/20 Planned debt free date: Dec 20249 -
Afternoon turtlesLate start this morning, managed to lie in until about 8.30. Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom then did some hoovering. OH and I went out with the pony and had some races against each other, all very silly but good fun. Back and hips are sore unfortunately but that's not unusual with my back lol.Have batch cooked a few lunches and now just chilling on the sofa with a hot water bottle.NSD's - 17 (have hit my target for the month!)Healthy food days - 17Workouts this week - 4Save £3,000 emergency fund #79 - £1,805 as of 04/2410

January ends with me having finished a job I was glad I did, but did not enjoy - so that is one to strike off the list of what to do when I grow up. I left with them telling me if I ever need a job, at anytime, ever, to just give them a ring and they would have me back. Nice to know I will not have to resort to becoming the oldest pole dancer in town. if it all goes b00bs up.The money from this month's pay cheque is going to buy a sofabed for the living room. This is going to solve so many problems and minor annoyances in the house, and with overnight visitors, and should make my life easier in the future. For some reason, I have £85 left in the budget (the budget renews tomorrow) this is seriously weirding me out. I am not scraping around for pennies, I even have £10 left in my purse. More weirdness. Must be the using up of dried goods and pulses from the pantry, and working 3 shops away from The Wading Bird Store, 19p veg supplies from C-Word, and being on top of what was in the house to be used up - really cut down on waste, and there was not much of that going on in the first place. The main highlight of this week, is my 40p worth of Lee-Del mushrooms being turned into a soup that was utterly delicious (looked like roadkill, tasted absoluto-flamin-lutely sublime) and fed 6 of us for lunch, even the kid that won't eat cooked mushrooms had seconds. Also decluttered a 1/3rd of a bottle of wine into it, and a pearly barley orzotto last night. Another dead sailor!I have written letters to people I have been putting off for a-g-e-s (shame on me!), written a cheeky 'Happy New Year' email on spec that has so far resulted in 5 weeks of future work, and will probably result in more, bought PB's, and have nearly bit the bullet on contacting a builder (I know, I know, I know - just bl00dy do it!) and have failed to trap a mouse.Just stewed some sad apples with 3 plums and a few bergamot in syrup that have been hanging around in a jar in the fridge since well before C-Word and were still fine. They will reappear with custard. Shhh! They want to be a crumble, but we are dieting.Made pesto with a packet of peanuts instead of cashews, because that is what we had in the pantry, and some ys basil (10p) and that will be supper with 25p spaghetti, and the odds and ends of jars of olives and sun-dried tomatoes lurking in the fridgeGlad I am back in the habit of soaking chickpeas and marrowfat peas for a day and a night, and then they only need about 15-20 minutes simmer on the hob to be ready for use. I am trying to get away from using cans and going old-school DIY again this year. I am not paying 65p for a tin of chickpeas!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Have done some more decluttering today, one item has been picked up & there is a big charity bag.
Have done lots of recycling too.
DW has actally been on twice & WM twice.
Oh & I have cleaned the fridge
I am tired but very pleased with what I have managed.
I have a lovely fluffy cat bed which Miss S does NOT like at all.
Seems way too good to chuck.
Will ponder.

Well done @beanielou, you have been busy. Very inspiring @f0xh0les, will have to take a leaf out if your book!
NSD - yippee, haven't had one for ages!
Blowing a hoolie here, did some Norwegian practice before breakfast (read my book whilst eating(, then got wrapped up & moved the pile of wood at the end of the house, into a neat pile a bit further up. This is so that on a calm day, u can bag some sand from the 2 tonne sacks, which will enable me to drag the sacks to where the wood was originally, then we can order some stone chippings for paths, & some concrete mix. Had a wet elbow when I'd finished moving the wood, due to a non-waterproof coat.
Altered 2 pairs of jeans for DH before dinner, then completed 2 sewing jobs afterwards. Listed some books on 3bay, then after tea I did the dishes & accounts for my side hustle.
Grateful for the wood being moved, getting sewing done, some peace & quiet from my phone constantly pinging - it was causing me stress!Use it up, wear it out

NSD 15, and a couple of my spending days have been a pound or two so quite pleased with that.
Today has been very successful in terms of "getting stuff done". DD made a list of 5 things she wanted to do today, I added 5 things we had to do and 5 things I wanted to get done and we have finished all 15 and a couple of extras. None of the routine cooking/washing etc was on the list so we really have got a lot sorted out. A total mix of purely fun, some cleaning/fixing, some quick and some that took an hour or so. I'm absolutely using a similar list next weekend.
