Yes. f0xh0les, he's a good lad and can be very assertive when the need arises. Apparently his Dad became worried when he couldn't get a reply from her phone (she's virtually housebound) so they both drove to her house. She was lying in bed, couldn't move or speak and didn't seem to know they were there. The Numpty said she had been like that since morning and he had phoned "someone". The Boy called an ambulance which was there in 30 minutes. They had no record of a previous call. Doctors apparently told the Boy that something isn't adding up and they don't believe what the Numpty is telling them the truth. Very worrying.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9

ditty1234 said:Morning hope everybody is ready for Friday. I just submitted my pre retirement part time PhD proposal! I am very happy with it, so even if I don't get it it can move me forward. Unfortunately this means I've been a bit of a bad teacher so I now have well overdue marking to do. But ... That can be done.
Sorry I'm behind on reading but the good bit about spending every free minute reading is that it is hard to have time to spend money. So a good amount of nsd days. Happy days.
I had sent a wee parcel for valuation to Vint@geCashC0w and got an offer today. Luckily I had already decided in advance if the offer is over £50 I'll take it as I knew I couldn't sell them for more myself and they weren't sentimental enough to keep really. Got a £61 offer to put towards debt. I'll see what else I can find in the house.
DH just told me he still owes the taxman 3000 (or so). I thought that was sorted but no, that is the new bill from last year. I guess I won't see my 2 grand back for a while then. There's just no talking to him about money. I'm now thinking, why did he get himself a coffee this morning, save the !!!!!! money. I'm sitting here eating freezer burnt soup as not to spend money...hopefully his LBM will come. I'm even more determined now to do the no/low spend year and cut everything I have influence over.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/259 -

Evening turtles.I psyched myself up to cycle partway to work after almost talking myself out of it this morning. Am glad I did in the end as felt better for it! When the weather improves I definitely want to be doing it more often. No spend day, just plodded along, had a 4pm appointment cancel so I went home early as a treat!NSD's - 16Healthy food days - 17Workouts this week - 38

Tonight was productive for a change. Made celeriac, mushroom and bacon soup for work with free stuff I got. Looks horrific but tastes good.
Boxed the first lot of books for Z1ff1t and looked out all my Ian R@nkin books, about 25, to list in Amazon in various lots.
And it was another NSD. Need a top up shop tomorrow. Can't wait for payday. Work is giving us all a cost-of-living bonus. That will go straight to debt.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/256 -
@Toni'sfriend DS sounds like a great lad, and super news about a quick appointment for investigations.
Today was another spend day- because the hens are free-loading through the winter! Not an egg in sight so I had to buy some (first time I've bought eggs in 18 months so I probably can't really complain), but I can't make yorkshire puds without them and I has a joint of beef in the slow cooker all day!
Trying to get the horse back into work after a bit of a winter holiday, so spent the afternoon messing about at the stables.
Going to try and sort some paperwork out while watching TV tonight- aiming to get all my banking info in 1 place.9 -
((Hugs)) @Toni'sfriend it is really good that things are moving so quickly forward for your tests etc, that is what is supposed to happen. And you must be so proud of your son
His aunt is lucky that she has him looking after her interests instead of her useless partner, though it can't be an easy situation for him.
Good luck with the PhD proposal @ditty1234@lcc86 I hope you don't have to wait too long for your appointment.NSD #16 for me today, as I was at work again. It was absolutely freezing in the shop, and very quiet, which is unusual, so we closed a bit earlier than normal.Took crackers, cheese and grapes for lunch, as usual, and we had fish cakes for dinner.Looking forward to an early night, as I didn't sleep at all well last night.11 -

Big hugs @Toni'sfriend, good to hear you've not had to wait long for your appointments. We're all there with you in spirit, holding your hand.
Thanks @beanielou, I hope you had a great time too.
Enjoy Ireland @DrCarrie.
Didn't do yoga again, but did do some walking in the evening instead. Had a good day at work, was so glad it's Friday though! Felt quite excited on my way to work & initially when I arrived - the thought of my night out. Had the radio on in the car when a song I used to love, came on. Isn't it funny how you remember all the words from something you've not heard for at least 15/18 years?!! Added to my playlist 😊
Took my work bestie home after school, then we took her lovely dog for a walk, before getting ready to go out. Picked our other bestie up & had a lovely time. Lots of raucous laughing! Walked over a mile back to friend's house, where I stayed the night.
Woke up @6am with cramp in my calf 😓 Will catch up on some sleep when I get home later.
Grateful for these two ladies - who'd do anything for me & vice versa, fun with the dog, laughterUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
