Morning turtles! Very happy for you @beanielou. Take care of yourself @grandmanerd.
Finally on NSD 2. Went to the dentist and need 4 fillings, so that will be a substantial cost.
Meditation done. Haven’t felt like writing. Walked for an hour yesterday and an hour this morning. May try to get a gym session in later. Haven’t been doing great with no sugar… just had to tidy away the rest of the stollen left over from Munich into my face ;-) but no booze and no social media.
grateful for being able to get out and enjoy the bright sunny crisp morning (even though it was due to dentist appt) for bf’s cooking.Have a great day turtlesStudent loan £5655

Hello,
Had some sad news today. My ex boss is dead. He struggled with alcoholism for years and it got the better off him. Gone way too early. That's my second ex boss gone before their time. Both left family and young kids behind. Such a shame.
NSD today, and not much else to report, just blodding on. Eye feels fine, doesn't hurt or anything just looks gruesome.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/258 -

Good afternoon ⛅
Apologies for my 9 day absence!!! Thought I was getting there on my medications but then had a manic episode followed by a few days running off the rails. I've been a little all over the shop to say the least. Add to that persistent insomnia and well my head hasn't been in the best place. Fortunately - things settled - had my dose adjusted, and hopefully will see an improvement.
Amidst all the craziness - I somehow manged to stay on track with finances and bagged another 3 NSDs lol.
NSD total = 6
I have been grateful for:
1) A wonderful high courtesy of the NHS!!! Best £9.35 I ever spent haha
2) Supportive friends around me
3) A sense of humour
Week 3:
Mindfulness 🧘🏻♂️ = 1/7
Nature Walk 🌳 = 0/4

Forgive me if I haven't caught up on the last week or so - I'll read through a few every day. Wishing everyone a fantastic Wednesday xxx⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Happy middle of the week-day!! I got home from work at 1.30am, and I am an unholy mess today. Back at work in a couple of hours, but only THREE shifts left to do, and 2 of them are only 4 hours long (la la la la la!!) not that I am counting (I really am counting!!).@grandmanerd this really is going on for quite a long time. I hope it stops soon, you have had more than enough of this now. Bet the flippin' stress doesn't help either. Hope the funeral is as good as it can be - at least you are distanced from it and can protect your little chick from the circling vultures. Once the house is sold and that part of your life is over, then you should feel the benefit of a bit of calm. You have been to so many funerals recently.Tidied and hoovered my living room this morning, and have made lunch, apart from that, and the obligatory load of laundry, I have achieve a big fat nothing off my list. Oh well, that is what tomorrow is for!Hope ThriftySon has rebounded from the 3 nights/10 nights fiasco, and it does them no harm to realise that sometimes things are fluid and you don't have to be in control of everything. Most things work out, there are more good people out there than bad. The bad ones are just louder.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

@thriftylass sorry to hear about your boss. Always sad when someone's demons are too much to overcome.Slept on the sofa again last night, felt much better this morning but still took painkillers. Now my back is feeling okay but the cumulative effect of 2 days of codeine means I feel constantly nauseous. This is why I don't like taking them!I spoke to OH about getting a new mattress, I can't cope with the one we have and frankly I don't care about spending the money as my quality of life is more important! He's in agreement so we're going to shop around and see what we can find.Got my refund back from my closed savings account so sent the money to my new savings account, all sorted now. Might end up using some of that towards a mattress.Did some gentle yoga again this morning and then worked from home for a few hours. Managed to get the hoovering done. Emailed HR about my last expenses claim not being paid. I've paid out a lot in fuel costs all over the place, the least they could do is reimburse it in a timely manner!Went into work as was needed in court this afternoon for all of 10 minutes (well worth it!). Stayed there as the office is quiet and secluded, I had a report to write and got most of it done which I'm happy with.NSD's - 10Healthy food days - 11Workouts this week - 2 (very gentle again)9

Hiya abundant! I was starting to wonder where you'd wandered off to. Hope the meds settle down and do what they're supposed to do very quickly.

Today I am grateful for a very good session with my counsellor, for getting 2 bags out to the Sally Army, for being warm as I walked about, for remembering my library login and password after updating the borrow box app, for a successful sugar free cake- yum!!!
