NSD No 4 - Discovered bread in the freezer, Himself has enough milk and I don't really need any veg until Friday.
Himself hoovered the house (bless him!) whilst I did a bit of cooking and tidying. Whilst tidying I found three books I had bought for Himself's Christmas and forgot about, One of the perils of buying things early. Anyway he was pleased to get an extra present.
We spent the afternoon watching a couple of films we had recorded. Very old but quite enjoyable. Oh, and naughty me had a scone out of the freezer spread with black cherry jam. I'm trying to pretend it's decluttering..
Lunch - cream cheese and smoked salmon on wholemeal bead and dinner chilli with pitta bread. Everything already in freezer or stores.
Getting there slowly but surely. xxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.11 -
Today I am grateful for a fab gym sesh first thing with no music blaring out for the first 30 mins, for dc setting themself an alarm to wake up, for a good result from meeting with dc's senco, for hm soup, for bumping into a neighbour.

NSD #3I have just had a lemsip too @thriftylass. I didn't sleep at all well again, so just went back to bed after breakfast. It is very rare for me to sleep during the day, so I must have needed it! I have to go to work tomorrow though, so will have to sort myself out!As a consequence, I haven't done much today, apart from writing and addressing a birthday card and present ready for posting tomorrow (fingers crossed it will reach its destination, I am posting it very early to be on the safe side!), sorting out some items to take to my sales unit, and a bit of tidying, but on the upside, nothing has been spent. We finished off the quiche I made at the weekend for lunch, and there is leftover chicken pie from yesterday for dinner. OH is intending to make crushed potatoes to go with it - I have just checked over the herbs that he has picked from the garden to make sure they are actually herbs, and not something totally different and possibly not edible I will do some broccoli to add something green. It felt mild this afternoon so I turned off the heating. The stove will be lit in a minute though.Grateful today for being able to sleep when I needed to, milder weather and no rain for once to come through my leaky kitchen skylight.12

Evening Turtles,
I was out the door first thing for a walk - very blustery down on the promenade. I am walking about 2.5 miles a day, I need to get my stamina up to pre-covid days. I am tired of being tired!
Vegetables and walking, i am convinced its the way forward. Speaking of vegetables; I am up to 21 so far this week, and 34 different plants in total over the last 3 days.
I am grateful for meatballs, my walking boots, blankets and tea.

Evening turtlesVery spendy day today as the car went in for MOT and service, £400 lighter and I have to return it next week for another part. Money is all from savings though which is the main thing, but it's sad to see it disappear!Bought my bike with me to the garage and then cycled to my friend's to walk her dog, so managed to get my exercise in nice and early. My brake has stopped working for the third time so I've arranged to get that fixed tomorrow, can't be riding a bike with no brakes! Not much else to report today, work kept me busy. Had one of my long distance work visits tomorrow cancelled which I am secretly pleased about although I have to reschedule it for another time.NSD's - still on 2Healthy food days - 4Workouts this week - 5Save £3,000 emergency fund #79 - £2,073.28 as of 05/24

Evening turtles,
NSD 2/15. Nearly lost it by buying printer ink but will delay until tomorrow which will be a spend day.
Productive work day again as wfh.Don’t feel 100% so no extra jobs done today & made hot dogs for tea! Not really hungry. Also an alcohol free day.
DH came home from work & went straight to bed as had a migraine. So I’ll watch the footy on my own and try to stay away from the goodies still lurking in the kitchen cupboards.
Feel like we’re just trying to get to the weekend!!Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £1050 DFD 31/7/24 3 months to go…. 7 weeks11 -

NSD 3, and I've written a shopping list for tomorrow, so fingers crossed that will keep us going for a few days.
All the Christmas decorations are back in the loft, the recycling bin is so full I had to put DD into it to squish it down a bit- she thought that was brilliant fun!
Without the tree it looks like we have loads of space- just have to stop DD dragging a million toys and crafts out to fill the space.
Work again tomorrow and hopefully I'll get a chance to drop a bag at the charity shop at lunchtime.

Bought eggs - in fact, 3 people in the house bought eggs 🥚😂😂 - the perils of having been looking for them for a week! Still, we'll get through them and I may even make some brownies too. Also bought 6 rolls of Xmas paper RTC (hopefully will last 2 years)
Pretty productive day at work today, which I'm pleased about - it's a very busy week, but I feel that I've achieved rather than just been running to try and stand still.
Little bit of decluttering last night - several pairs of stockings got binned and I've decanted all the hotel body wash into 1 bottle and then used up the dregs in all the tiny bottles/ tubes over the last week
Thankful for achieving at work, for hotplate being around, for an easy dinner, for a good night's sleep last night 😴I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £2013 -
