Grateful today for finishing most of the perishable foods in the fridge, for getting packed for holiday and in bed at a decent time (up at 5 tomorrow morning!), and for mum dropping off mini squash bottles.

Sticking on NSD 2. I did the food shopping this morning - 4 supermarkets, but one of them is a small Korean one. Came home, put it all away, made lunch, ate lunch, went to work, got back at 8.30. Nothing else to report except the £2 single journey ticket on the bus is fab. Saved 60p.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Day 3 and still on 2NSDs, but as I went into a shop for bread and milk, and came out with bread, milk and some yellow-stickered veg for the bunnies I'll take it as a win!
Decluttered some paint onto some walls, this will be an on-going thing for the next few months as I have finally got started decorating the house and I need to keep going while I have the decorating bug!

Update for yesterday:
WFH, very productive and got a lot done.
NSD still 1/15 as treated myself to a wax melt bar on clearance sale. All is not lost as I’m still within my £23 per week personal spends (part of my 23 goals for 2023 goals) and one of my ‘treat myself 23 times in 2023’ actions.
Also cleaned out the fridge and rearranged things, didn’t take long and looks much better.
Updated January budget sheet as a lot of dds now gone out. Cashback on my credit card paid out and cleared it’s balance (use for grocery, fuel, online shopping and clear straight away).
Visited my parents and resisted all offers of cake, chocolates and biscuits also a no alcohol day 😇.
Took ds to footy training, nice to see and catch up with some parents. Bit rainy but not too cold.
Watched the darts final which was surprisingly good to watch.
Hoping for an NSD today and to tidy away some of ds gifts.Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £175/£26011 -
Good morning. Feeling a bit meh today but that's probably just my body adjusting to being healthy or I am actually coming down with sth. Day 4 of no booze, smoking etc and despite some bad cravings I'm sticking with it as I'm getting closer to a better me. DH came back from visiting his da yesterday. But I stayed strong and just went to bed early. I downloaded a stop smoking and drinking app that lists the actual physical benefits as time passes but I might not feel yet for extra visual motivation.
Plan for the day is to start Duolingo with the kids again, sort the craft/drawing etc cupboard and maybe make a plan for work on Monday so I can stop worrying about it.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2510 -

Good afternoon ⛅
Had a busy few days and managed to get out and felt up to seeing a few people. Boy did it take it out of me though! Am 04 for 04 with my mindfulness and got to the gym too so am pleased! Am working my way through my fridge contents and prepped meals, and stuck by and large to my food plan (not counting the chocolate brazils haha). Hopefully as I start to feel brighter I'll be more consistent with my check-ins here too. Not beating myself up though.
02nd = NSD number 2 / 15
03rd = spend day
Today I am grateful for:
1) Supportive friends
2) Keeping on track
3) Feeling brighter 🌞

Hugs and well wishes to all who are struggling with various illnesses now. The lurgy has definitely struck here now too. Thought I just felt a bit meh, but now feel wobbly, have a fuzzy head and a sore throat. As do the kids. So lost a NSD as I quickly posted some bday cards and an important letter and did a wee top up shop for bread, ham etc. Saw a few items reduced that I need for next week's meal plan so bought them but will reduce next week's budget by that money.
Off to get a lemsip and read.
Side note family has well adjusted to the lower thermostat setting. Paid £400 last month despite similar usage as in years before. But only had about 18-20 C in the living room and lower everywhere else. So now it's just 16-17C everywhere and hopefully back to just below £300 next month. Can't have it off completely as the house temperature then drops to 11-13CDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2512
