Well done Nellie75. What a shame that the weather turned just as you got back to work. It's just typical isn't it! I feel sorry for the school children as well. I can remember my childhood and we always had lovely weather pretty much from April onwards. Now it seems that April and early May are the only times we can see really good weather. Whilst it is lovely to have dry warm weather in September, my poor plants have no idea what they are supposed to be doing. My strawberry plants have flowered again for the second time. It will be interesting to see how the fruit develops£2 coin savings club 2025 #1 £166 (2024 £692; 2023 £754; 2022 £472; 2021 £256; 2020 £358; 2019 £512; 2018 £404; 2017 640)Saving for Xmas 202 £1 a day #4 £365 / £365 3-6 month emergency fund challenge #48 £10,030 Save a penny a day 2024 #32 £ . / £667.95 £1000 emergency fund challenge #232 £1,007/ £1,000 (achieved Nov 2020)0

Hi #12 checking in.
It's been a while, but I've still been getting my £10 worth each week when I can. I couldn't wait any longer, so I opened up my tin and counted it. £304! The £4 I've put into another tin, the £300 I'm going to get changed up and banked this week. It is going towards new tyres for my car again this winter. Handy to know I've got this put aside rather than having to take it out of my wages or put it on the credit card!
Well done everyone that has saved, even if it is only a couple here or there. They all add up£2 Saving Club 2024 #3 £12.001 -
I have been MIA again, no excuse really, not much luck on the collecting front.

On the plus side I did win £100 on premium bonds this month (sept). Hubby had £50 this month, and my sister had £250. I'm sure mine will become lucky at some point!
Well done though on potting another £14 = steady progress and they all add up at the end of the year!£2 coin savings club 2025 #1 £166 (2024 £692; 2023 £754; 2022 £472; 2021 £256; 2020 £358; 2019 £512; 2018 £404; 2017 640)Saving for Xmas 202 £1 a day #4 £365 / £365 3-6 month emergency fund challenge #48 £10,030 Save a penny a day 2024 #32 £ . / £667.95 £1000 emergency fund challenge #232 £1,007/ £1,000 (achieved Nov 2020)0 -
