£2 savers club for 2023

Welcome everyone to the £2 savers club for 2023.  As always, the aim is to collect every £2 coin you can lay your hands on!

It is entirely up to you whether you want to:
A) Save for a particular reason e.g. to pay the car insurance, to pay for a family holiday or to buy birthday presents throughout the year,
B)Save until you have a specific amount e.g. £100, £200 or even a nice full pot!
C) Save for any other reason you can think of...

Above all else remember this is a fun thread, but the aim of this website is to SAVE, so any help you can give to others is always very welcome.

Anyone who wishes to join is always very welcome, please just start posting and I will issue you with a number.  Also, if anyone wants to add anything to the list such as a target etc. then let me know and I will add it. However there is no pressure to do this as many people just wish to be able to save as and when they can.  I usually just save as many as I can and update my signature to keep track of what I've put n my pot 

So that’s it. Start saving, comment regularly e.g. let us know what type of coin you have obtained and hopefully it won't be too long before those pots are feeling heavy.

Yay, been looking forward to this. I have bought one of those pots you need to smash to get the coins out and I want to go till its full but I'm aiming for £300

Please count me in:) I tried last year but I just couldn’t get any £2 coins. I’m planning on using more cash this yet so will hopefully be more successful.

I wish you all the best in finding those elusive gold coins!  I must admit that I find using cash a good way to keep to my budget and of course, more opportunity to get £2 coins in my pot!
