That's ok Hummingbird0_12.  It's lovely for you to pop by and give us an update.

I find using cash much better for me and my budget - and £2 collection .  Hubby is quite well trained too :D

Keep in touch and good luck in finding some more coins

Another £42 for me in the last couple of weeks.  Mr T has proved particularly rich in £2 coins for a change.  Also had 3 from my lovely hubby, 4 from petty cash at work and 2 from scout banking.  The rest came from bingo where a gentleman is currently spending his hoard of £2 coins.  Most seem to be picture coins and so last Sunday I collected 8 DNA coins and another Trevithick coin.

    Happy hunting everyone.

March was a quiet month for me - only £28 in total.  My friends had them but I didn't have the cash available to swap! Hopefully they will still have them and April will be more successful!

Five more plain from Asda, once the shift manager thought I was going to buy matches. The assistant & I twinkled at each other, and relaxed into open beaming (& heartfelt appreciation on my side!) once said senior had puttered off.
  • Well done everyone on their collecting.  It's been a quiet couple of weeks for me so only adding £20 to my pot.  All plain except for one WWII 60th anniversary coin.  All safely potted.

I'm hoping the man at bingo will be there on Sunday will all of his, so hopefully get a few more  :)

Very fortunate (again) at Asda. (All plain.) I do wish shops with change would cooperate but I do understand the security & the cash management issues.

Asda again helpful, sweetly swapped me all three of their £2 coins! All plain, but 3!
