Well I've been working hard to keep up with bills, so no extras - so no change, so no £2,  But we are back in action and on the lookout :)
To those who are given much, much is expected

        £2025 in 2025 = £680.60
          Food Budget £180/9.30.
            Fiver Friday #13 £35

I am seriously considering leaving this (lovely) group and joining one called 'Never find a £2 coin no matter what I do'

            I even ask!

@sams247 I do feel your pain! Keep Asking - as the waving a water pistol around does cause extra consternation & Still Doesn't Get the £2 coins (ask me how I know...) I commend pleading with anywhere that sells lottery tickets on a Thursday morning, the pricier coffee shops when they're quiet & (ulp) banks.
I get away with repeated bare-faced cheek by saying "it's for Scouts" and smiling hopefully. (I get a few coins exchanged, they get a cheerful exercise in imagination) Stick at it!
                  2. #5 checking in. My first £2 for Feb. So 14 in all. So far. It looked like it had a bridge on it.

sams247 - DigForVictory has some useful avenues to explore there.   Keep with it.  I've been doing this challenge for several years so am getting much better at
                    A) spotting a £2 coin in a supermarket till and
B ) now brave enough to ask the cashier if they are willing to give it to me as part of my change.

I am lucky in that I'm the finance officer at work, so all petty cash goes through me.  Two colleagues also collect £2 coins so it's very much the first person to lay eyes on it, and have the necessary funds to do the swap, gets the coin.  But the funds coming into to the office from the bank, I get first look, and that can sometimes be lucrative.  I'm also treasurer for the my local scout group so do all their banking.  Again, another good source of £2 coins.  Then there's bingo, my corner shop and my adorable hubby, who all save them up for me.  Once people know, you'd be surprised where they come from.
