Everyone is doing so well - a really good start to the year!
I've had a pretty good week. We actually had snow down here in west Cornwall! Only lasted a few hours but was a surprise to see as we just don't get it normally. Hopefully it's not been too icy where you all are.
Bingo continues to provide me with a good source of £2 coins (6 this week), and my lovely corner shop has come up trumps with 2 more! So 8 more going into the pot this week
Bingo is my 'time out'. As regulars to this challenge know, I'm an accountant in my spare time, so I've been busy getting tax returns completed. Just 3 more to go and I will be finished for this tax year but only 10 days to the deadline so that's a bit nearer than I would like. I've taken on 4 clients this year - but I'm still well below what I would need to go full time (and pay the mortgage). So I still have my full time job which provides the financial stability I need.

Blimey I'm feeling very far behind some of you. I've 13 coins all in. But I'm off out tomorrow so maybe I'll be lucky.2

@penguin37 it could be worse, you could be (as I am) looking at an empty piggy bank. I will Take Steps but it will involve words with the bank, which seems utter cheating!1

I had a good week this week. Last Sunday, lots of bingo friends had lots of coins for me to swap, plus a couple more from shopping. In all, another £40 added to the pot
.
Accounts are now all submitted. Feel like I've got my life back again. Gardening is beckoning and there's lots to do out there to get it tidy for spring. Lots of new shoots in the garden so will have to wait and see what I planted last year that has survived all the wet and cold weather!
Bingo again tonight (had to miss my Tuesday session as had to get a set of accounts finished). Wonder how many I will get tonight? Hopefully some winnings as well!

At Last! Five plain coins, having pleaded with the nice lady in Asda, who came to help when an customer service colleague was coping with a complicated customer query. Finally got January off to a start & the pig has an intriguing rattling clink!1
