AUSSIE - glad your DH is finally going back to the specialist re his mouth.
Well, my DH has just gone and I've cleared the breakfast things, written a list of seven rogue cards - not one, as previously thought, so I must get them posted while I'm out this morning. Other things keep jumping into my head so now, what was a shortist shopping list, is now a biggish one!
Well, it definitely isn't as frosty as it has been but it seems to be a lot colder this morning! I shall have to wrap up warm when I go out.
Dinner tonight will be bubble & squeak, sausages and beans, with stewed, very-old-found-in-the-back-of-the-fridge plums for pudding. I need to keep the meals fairly simple this week because there's too much else to think about. I can't believe that, this time next week, it will be Christmas day! The grandchildren break up from school today - I think most schools do, today or tomorrow.
Well, better go and have a shower, then see how many jobs I can tick of the list before I go out!
See you later.

BLAIRWEECH - I've just had a quick look at the rest of yesterday's thread and I can't believe the girl you gave the present to actually told you it wasn't suitable. I'd have been mortified if either of my children had done that when they were younger. How ungrateful! Not all children are like that - my DGS and DGD wouldn't do it - they've been brought up to appreciate the thought and effort that goes into buying a gift. Sounds like her parents give into her every whim!
Oh, and welcome to METHEKIDS - hope you enjoy this thread - I do!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Dd and I have sort of pasta dish with salmon and holandaise sauce, OH has someting with pork steaks, he can't eat pasta, gives him terrible pains in his tummy, and DD and I love it  .
Will have a clean round today, and got one load to wash, we have my mums dog coming for the night tonight, parents are off to a funeral which is going to be going on late. A friend of their's died last week, he has had MS for over 40 years, and his lungs just gave up on him, he had asked not to be resusitated (sp), and asked his wife to lay down and cuddle him and then died in her arms, very sad, but he lived life to the full, and the wake is looking to be a hell of a party xx
Well i am sure I will pop back later, have good days all xx0 -
Morning All
Feeling quite chilly this morning. Just about to take DS' temperature as he was very hot last night, if its still up then he will be home today which isnt great news as I need to sort the Wii out.
Did manage to wrap all the kids pressies and some of the adults, am waiting for something from Play.com for nephew which they admit should have been delivered by now but they dont investigate missing items for 21 days so if I havnt received it by 25th December then I must contact them - not much good so will see if it arrives today - if not will have to go to the shop and picj one up.
Meal out last night was lovely - was really nice as hadnt seen my friends for quite a few months. Food was very good too.
Am popping out to town today as still need candles - have quite a list to get - need to pop into asda on the way home as need some photoframes & theres are very reasonable. Will probably meet my sister for a coffee.
No idea whats for dinner tonight - will sort that in a bit.
Have a good day.
x
