If everything on the assesment tracker is ticked does that mean all checks are OK and the offer should follow

Yes in most cases but not always.

Best to click chat and ask them.

    All the best
  • Anyone know if its standard for Natwest to do a second soft credit check?
I had a soft search with my AIP and a hard search when I applied. I got an offer from Natwest on the 02/11 but when I checked my credit file today I can see a second soft search from the 01/11 detailed as 'subsequent credit check'. Any idea why they did this?

When was all ticked off? 1/11?
  • I’ve had this too (actually 2 hard searches but the second was only because my broker made a mistake with inputting my partners name…) perfectly normal I think!
  • Hoping someone can help!

We submitted our documents on the 17/10/22 and Natwest requested more documents on the 08/11/2022 (current accounts - my fault I only sent them the joint account as this is where our salaries get paid into and the bills come out of) our vendors are now threating to pull the sale from us.

Is anyone else in the same position do you think that if they were going to decline the mortgage do you think they would have done so by now?

I'm so stressed at the moment I can barely sleep.

    Thanks in advance x

First of all NatWest are slowest of all slows so don’t keep any hopes on them.

They can decline but normally they don’t at your stage until anything material different. So keep fingers crossed.

Vendors won’t pull out they are just playing because yes it’s frustrating… without a doubt for them.

But then pulling out isn’t in their favour because by the time they re market and choose a new buyer it will be too late and new buyer can get struck with lender as well.

Just explain them above and that you are now the best for them and ask for more time .

Also market is going down so they might not achieve same price as you agreed with new buyer.

    Good Luck

All ticked off 02/11 the same day the offer came through
  • mine all became ticked yesterday then today we got asked 10 questions which were pretty silly questions nothing out the ordinary. hopefully its just procedure to ask something. teh tracker even says they are not waiting on any from us even though the broker hadnt gone back to them.
