Thank you all for celebrating my news with me
had the offer email with attachments through at 10am a few hours after the tracker had updated
if everything is ticked on the tracker and the service level working days have passed chase your broker would be my advice. Mine had ticks but issues only communicated to broker once that time elapsed.
down to our conveyancers now who know we want it through asap. It’s a private sale and we rent the house we live in from the vendor who is my partners mum so it’s just how quick can you do it - being optimistic that it will be next week possibly
good luck to anyone still waiting0 -
I would just want to query something, if you bank with NatWest and have a mortgage with them, when it comes to renewing your rate, do they give a discount rate to customers who bank with them, as I know Lloyds do that to there reward account customers0

Best to talk to a broker but in general everyday is a new market and new rate. Usually moving away from lender mostly pays.
Check current rate sheet to see rate for existing customers remortgage but if they are better it won’t guarantee same tomorrow.
Take this as a pot, when it’s full they give best deals / rates to new and old and their pot of money is empty they are worse at rates.

How were those of you tracking your application via the NatWest tracker that used a broker? My existing mortgage is with Natwest, would I just use that number or did you receive one from the broker?
Its been a couple of weeks and I'm getting pressure from the vendor. 75% LTV, employed, and just me buying.0
