Still not got offer. Big_rock you were right. Broker had forgot to send a payslip also natwest kept asking for the ones they already had and not the one they didn't have. They have said all agreed pending this payslip. But my problem now is the payslip they didn't have had sick pay on as I had covid so couldn't work for a week. So if you calculate that top line it takes me below what I stated as my yearly wage. The other payslips were more than I had stated and even the lesser amount still gave me about 20k headroom on what I have applied for. Should I be worried. I am back on full pay now as I was only off for a week
    Pretty common with brokers !

I am not a broker so can't advise their criteria but every underwriter is different and my learning do far is don't panic or stress about these issues until they don't ask. And also they are out of your control ie you can go back and fix them.

Gut feeling is you will be ok .. anyone can fall sick and as your normal circumstances are ok now so you should fly.

Just remember to keep on checking on chat and not via broker to stay ahead.

Make sure to change the product as rates are gone down.

All the best and Good Luck

  • When we applied for our mortgage we went for product FO34748 6.24% anyone know what the best rate is now for a similar product? It was a Core Help to Buy Fixed till 29-02-28
  • Hi
a nice update from me finally - moved to offer this morning on the tracker. Can only guess that the escalation was approved and someone finally took the time to read our actual information to understand what our very simple situation is
    submitted 27/09, offer 29/11
still a ridiculous amount of time to wait but will be celebrating today!

now I have zero idea what happens next!
  • Morning All, finally we hopefully have some good news. Today ours has all been ticked and been advised it's with the offer team to send out the offer. is anyone aware how long this might take? it happened this morning at 10.42am

Greats news, hope the move goes well. we didn't have to wait as long but similar problems with them not really looking at what we sent to prove credit cards were at 0 and the fact that it didn't actually matter if we still had the credit card debt as the affordability was there for the amount of money we needed to borrow. doesnt matter now all sorted hopefully.

Would they bank advise if they've offered below the asking amount, because my tracker is all ticked even the offer but my broker hasn't received the offer yet? It was updated today
