    My broker submitted my application on 10/11/22, a hard search was done on that day, also a soft search, how long do you think it will take to get a response?

    There is no time scale or any fixed pattern but generally employed are faster than self employed so as LTV

    15-20 working days is usually a good average

    Are you self employed or employed?
  • Good news at last!!
    Finally received my offer at 3.50pm yesterday afternoon.
    So pleased, after what has been a nightmare of a time.
    7 weeks to the day since application.
    Good luck to all those still waiting.

  • Hi All,

    Glad i found this forum very helpful to understand how its all working with everyone and what we need to expect.

    My story is 2 applicants both employed.

    Submitted = 28/10/22
    Valuation booked for = 2/11/22

    on 11/11/22 we were told = Just to give you an update – your case is at final assessment stage with NatWest – I am waiting for their decision to come through, once that does, I will update you further.

    Was told on 14/11/22 = valuation all signed off and there happy with it.

    literally every day we are checking our emails hoping to be given the good news. We are first time buyers who have been renting for 5 years. have spent the last 2 years with father-in-law which has been tough haha.

    Any thoughts on when we might hear anything is very welcome.

    Hope all is going well for everyone.
