I’ve now twice been at the stage you’re at (because if the name discrepancy that was picked up after my first offer) and the offer has come through on email within 4-5 hours both times.

make sure you check the offer thoroughly when it arrives…name, properly address, value of the loan, solicitor details etc.

Hey all, can Natwest change my fixed interest rate until the completion? Interest rates are so crazy right now I'm getting scared....

Product agreed stay the same but you can switch before completion.

what rate have you agreed?

most are going for tracker at the moment

Well, I won't change it. I'm afraid they will. Because I don't think they are offering this one anymore. The agreed rate is 4.07% for 5 years.

Just thought I’ll post my offer timescale 

12/10 applied through broker 
12/10 hard search 
28/10 desktop valuation 
2/11 soft search 
3/11 further documents required like completion statement of my house sale submitted the same day 
8/11 got offer by email at 7.30 pm 

This was a 80% ltv single application full time employed with commission on my weekly payslips

Just an update : 

Natwest has pulled all tracker rate products as of 10th Oct

Which means they will have less work load in coming weeks but for now they might have more work load and delays as too many cases "MIGHT" have been pushed to lock tracker rates.
