They wouldn't go into details about a customers account with you on the phone.
DHL have put their resellers prices up from the 1st of sept, that is why ppw and others are removing services, ect, be nice to see what their prices change to after 1st sept????0 -
Hi guys, could anyone reccommend a cheap way of sending these 2 parcels abroad for me:
One is just a poster (under 60 cm) which is to go to Hungary, I had to laugh at the post office when she quoted me £22!!!!!!!!! Surely there is another option other than this, thats a disgusting price. I see other posters with European postage on ebay offered for £5 so what do people use!??
The second parcel is 3 towels, going to USA. Again, I almost choked when the lady quoted me £35 economy or £56 signed for delivery!!!
(I prefer sending my items guaranteed service so buyers cant just claim not to have received them! But I'm not paying either of these prices and I dont expect my buyers to either, I shall just cancel my sale and say they should have emailed asking for a quote FIRST, like my listing stated)
If I split the towels up (they are squashy, so I can get them smaller than the 3 piece bale I got the pathetic quote for - but can someone advise if it is best to keep them flat or pack them tight to further save money??) I think sending them separately will be much cheaper because hopefully they can go via airmail and I believe they will be within the 2kg limit - so would that make it a lot cheaper to go through Royal mail again that way or do these other ebay sellers know something I dont when it comes to postage??
I've used ppwexpress quite a bit for UK deliveries when RM quote a ridiculous price but to send to Europe and abroad seems a bit confusing on the website!
If anyone has advice for me,please just reply in here or PM me, really grateful for any help! don't normally send items abroad but this time they have both been snapped up without the buyers emailing first and they are awaiting an invoice inclusive of shipping.
Thanks for any help / advice0 -
RM will be the cheapest for both probably.
Courier options- https://www.interparcel.com will be the cheapest for Hungary and www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk (discount code ebay10pc) for America0 -
I've used parcel2go on many occasions and never had any problems with them. Usually picked up by a DHL courier. Plus there is the Quidco cashback of £5 for the 1st purchase, so it's always worth using them just once. Although recently they have been charging a fuel supplement which seems a bit off seeing as petrol prices are coming down!0

It don't mean to be rude, but looking at your post history and the nature of posts I think there may be something your not telling us.
And the clincher, you have just copy and pasted part of that message from what I wrote. As anyone who had that status last friday will know the number didn't havent and asterix at the end of it 949137* - I put that there so there so ppw's contract number wasn't given away.
You can tell us who you are and go for a different approach, or face same fate as everyone else that has posted on here who haven't quite been true to the cause.0
