  • Interparcel's TITAN service (TNT) will cover that- weight and insurance.

www.freightsearch.com also have an account with TNT and will probably be cheaper, as well much easier to contact etc, and are very helpful.
  • I have another parcel to be collected but as the buyer took so long to pay now it isn't convenient for me to wait in all day. If I go through PPW express can I drop it off at the DHL depot as it is quite near me?

    .......yes.

Best to ring the depot to check times etc. I've got a link on another computer which has all the DHL depot numbers....will post it when I can.
  • If any TKPeters/admins are about, the first page could desperately do with an update.

i have found a courier, whose size restrictions are 120 x 60 x 60. My item is 70 x 70 x 50. Does that mean its not suitable, or is the combined measurements more important?
  • VOLUMETRIC

    70 x 70 x 50 = 245000/6000

    =40.8KG

Limit is 31.5KG, so really you need to see my reply to Pinkgem question. But as long as the natural weight isn't above 20-25kg I'd probably just send it on a standard service.

Am I missing something, or are you mixing weight up with volume?

    1200 x 60 x 60 = 0.432m3

    70 x 70 x 50 = 0.245m3

So jetcat's parcel is with the size limit, but what is their weight limit?
  • 120cm x 60cm x 60cm is the maximum individual dimensions.

At 'main hubs' they measure the the weight and the volume.

    Quick google search.... http://www.apc-overnight.com/information.php

I understand that, but you were talking about kg's not dimensions.

When I was tring to find a courier to deliver mattresses I found that most of them had a maximum single dimension of 1.5m, and also a maximum total volume.
  • ....because it's the volume measurement in kilos equivalent to m3??

I no mathematician, but that's how it referred to.
