Express packages on ebay were really good. Chepest i found and parcel was collected from me within 4 hours of me completing order so i am very impressed.0

glad to report parcels collected by DHL boked through PPWExpress last night. Downside is now if you want extra insurance other than standard, its going to cost and extra £9.00 per parcel on top of your chosen service, which takes it way above the cheapest option for anything over £100 value now0

We use them for all overseas parcels and we cannot fault them at all.0 -

So many thanks for recommendation. I will use them again.0 -
I've asked for help in the past and though it right that I offer my 2p's worth. I use UK COURIER EXPRESS, can't fault them. They are getting rid of fedex as they were crap and took onboard complaints (incl my own)and looking at new companies eg parcelforce etc.

I booked a DHL collection through PPWExpress this morning. Looking at the website it says "UNSUCCESSFUL PICK UP - NOT READY" . They did not attempt to collect as I was in all day and have 6 dogs to alert me to the arrival of anyone to the door. There was no card to say collection had failed (and no the dogs can't anywhere near the door) although I don't know if they usually do this.
Will they automatically do a 2nd attempt at collection tomorrow? Will I get charged? I'm not happy at having to wait in again so to be charged again will add insult to injury!0 -

Was your collection address right? What time did you book the collection?
It's a difficult one for them as they'll no doubt get exactly the same thing from people who didn't wait in all and just try an pull a fast one to get a 2nd collection for free. But if you explain everything (politely) I'm sure they'll re-book the collection for tomorrow.0 -

So should I contact DHL then or go through PPW?
Yes the collection address is right. I booked at 11.30 this morning and it was showing as Unsuccessful pickup by 5pm. It doesn't give me a time the suppossed collection attempt took place.0 -
Contact ppw in the morning, best to ring them probably.
What can happen is if bookings come through late and if there driver is very busy, combined with it being a new collection address, your type of bookings will probably be first on the list that won't get collected. That's just how things work, probably with all couriers.0
