Bridlington1 said:I have just rang Virgin money and they said that you can buy gift cards in UK supermarkets and still get the cashback. So if you wanted to you could buy £640 worth of gift vouchers for supermarkets that you regularly use for your main food shopping and get the cashback that way, then spend the gift cards as and when you do your normal shopping.0

No list on the app of what stores can be used, pretty awful.1 -
Just logged in again this morning to check, and the cashback from my inital purchases is now showing as pending on the cashback page statement. Strangely, the future cashback balance only has the value of the most recent transaction, though I won't worry about that just yet

How long is it between switching (with the required DDs & funding) and the confirmation of eligibility email?0
-
if you read the few posts above it seems to vary. my switch was Wednesday and nothing on mine yet. someone above said on the switch day and someone else a few days.0
-
Don't rely on getting a confirmation of eligibility email, the only cashback related email I got was when I registered for the cashback offers overall 2 days before my switch (nothing about this one specifically). In the app, go into your M Plus account and you should see a link (2nd along on the sliding section under "Make a payment" and "Statements") to the cashback section, then click "View your account". Scrolling down, you should see an icon for this offer, with the remaining duration on it if it's active

None of the posts above mention eligibility email... but the terms say the 60 days is from the eligibility email 'within 14 days' of the switch.

yea but MM said a few posts back that he never got an email but saw his "60 day" window had reduced to 58 in the rewards section when he checked. so offer added but no email to say they had added it....
anyway the main thing is if its in your reward section which mine still isn't after switch was completed on the 7th. whats your timeframe currently?0 -

Same.
I'm happy to wait for the email - but I notice nobody has mentioned getting one, yet.
Perhaps most on here had already got an account, so don't qualify?0 -
Obviously I can't speak for anyone else on here but, I qualified and have started accumulating cashback, though still no email confirming that I'm eligible for this particular offer. Perhaps there's an issue with the emails at VM's end. My recommendation would be to keep checking the app rather than your inbox
